CLINTON — Shirley May DeLoe, 79, of Clinton, died Saturday at Mercy North Hospital.
Burial will be in Clinton Lawn Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jason Boekeloo, Chris Nowlin, Paul Schindel, Mike Keller, Patrick Nowlin and Chris Mullen.
She was born April 8, 1927, in Clinton to Charles Edward and Marie May Thiesen. She married Robert J. DeLoe on Nov. 30, 1946, in Clinton.
She was a 1945 graduate of Clinton High School.
She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Hannah Circle, Order of the Eastern Star, TOPS and was treasurer of TOPS for many years.
She was employed with Kline’s as a saleswoman for 12 years in the children’s department. She also was employed with the Collis and Curtis Co.
Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Mrs. Linda (Paul) Schindel of Kenosha, Wis., Beth DeLoe of Clinton and Mrs. Robin (Chris) Nowlin of Clinton; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to St. Paul Lutheran.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister.

GERALD F. 'JERRY' DeLOE 2004-06-22
Gerald F. 'Jerry' DeLoe, 96, of Ft. Myers died June 19, 2004. Jerry was born in Elkhart, IN, a son of the late Frank and Glennette DeLoe. He was a veteran of WWII serving in the U.S. Navy in the Pacific Theatre, and he was a personnel manager for Conn Music Company for many years. He moved to the local area from Elkhart in 1970. Jerry was the owner and operator of Happy Landing Court Ft. Myers Beach which he sold in 1980, he was a 32 degree mason, a member of Scottish Rite, Araba Temple and served as the potentate's personal aide, he also was the shrine's Santa Claus emeritus, he was a member of R.O.O.J. # 170, Legion of Honor, past commodore of Mariners Unit, past commodore of F.S.M.A., member of International Sojourners, past state president High Twelve International, member of Lions Club of Ft. Myers Beach, Shrine Club of Ft. Myers Beach, a member of Chapel By The Sea Presbyterian Church, he enjoyed traveling and all Shrine events with his wife Peggy.Mr. DeLoe is survived by his wife of 22 years Margaret A. 'Peggy', his daughter and son in law Ellen and Jim Barr of IN, his step son and daughter in law William H. and Donna Davis of Ohio, his step daughter and son in law Sandra and Arnold Goss of N.C., his 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
441. Gail P Deloe
Gail P. “Dick” DeLoe Sr., 79, of Venus, died Wednesday evening, Feb. 20, 2008, in UPMC Northwest, Seneca, following an illness.
Born June 19, 1928, in Turkey City, he was the son of the late Arthur and Maude Bell DeLoe.
Mr. DeLoe worked for 18 years at the scrap yard in Oil City, He also worked for many years at Knox Box Factory and drove truck. He took early retirement due to health problems.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and spending time with his family and friends. He also enjoyed working on vehicles.
Mr. DeLoe was married Sept. 8, 1964, to the former Joann Bickel, who survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, Mary DeLoe of Oil City; one son, Gail P. DeLoe Jr. and wife, Barbara, of Venus; one stepson, Scott Bickel and wife, Penny, of Knox; three granddaughters, Amy Baggaley, Sherri Fenstermaker and husband, Cody, and Victoria DeLoe; four grandsons, Shawn DeLoe, Corey Baggaley, Shannon DeLoe and James Dunkle; one great-grandson, Evan Goodman; and another great-grandson, Gage Baggaley, due April 1.
He also is survived by two sisters-in-law, Molly Hopper and Patricia DeLoe, both of Knox.
In addition to his parents, Mr. DeLoe was preceded in death by the following brothers and sisters: Arthur DeLoe Jr., Vern DeLoe, Wayne DeLoe and wife, Martha, Leona Oyler, Ida May Elder and husband, Arthur, and Maude Alice DeLoe, who died at birth.

Ron was an avid hunter and sportsman.

447. Howard Floyd Delo
Howard Floyd DeLoe, 69, of Tylersburg, died at 11:03 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 13, 2002, at his residence. Born August 16, 1932, in Turkey City, he was a son of the late William and Mable Rossey DeLoe. Mr. DeLoe was a disabled veteran, having served with the United States Army, 2nd Armor/33rd Tank Company, and received the National Defense Service Medal. He had worked for the Pennsylvania Railroad, Worthington and Foster Forbes Glass. Mr. DeLoe was an avid deer hunter and enjoyed fishing and raccoon hunting. He was married July 25, 1952 to Hattie S. VanWormer, who survives. Mr. DeLoe is also survived by seven children, Howard John DeLoe of Coal Hill, William Gail DeLoe of Cranberry, Mrs. James (Emma) Edwards of Tionesta, Edward Newton DeLoe of Van, Mark Eugene DeLoe, to Tionesta, Timothy Lee DeLoe of Cranberry, Louie Duke DeLoe of Tylersburg; 26 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are a brother, Harold DeLoe of Westfield, N.Y.; four sisters, Pearl Manross of Marble, Betty Watson of Rockland, Bertha Ross of Brookville and Emma Lipton of Kentucky. In addition to his parents, Mr. DeLoe was preceded in death by a son; a grandson; and five brothers. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today and Wednesday at the Morrison Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home with the Rev. John Taylor officiating. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Shippenville.
Howard Floyd DeLoe, 69, of Tylersburg, died at 11:03 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 13, 2002, at his residence. Among the survivors are a son, James Arthur DeLoe of Cranberry; and a brother, Harry DeLoe of Westfield, N.Y.
783. Martin Burgdorfer
Martin L. Burgdorfer, 51, of East Sandy Road, Kennerdell, Rockland Township, Venango County, died unexpectedly at 5:30 p.m. Sunday, April 3, 2005, in Rockland Township.
Born Feb. 19, 1954, in Oil City, he was the son of Betty Deloe Watson of Rockland and the late Sidney Burgdorfer, and the stepson of the late Gerald Watson, who died Sept. 10, 2004.
Mr. Burgdorfer was a 1973 graduate of Cranberry High School.
He was of the Protestant faith.
Mr. Burgdorfer enjoyed hunting and working on cars.
Surviving are his former wife, Ellen Elaine McVay Burgdorfer, of Polk; four children, Steven W. Burgdorfer and Martin L. Burgdorfer II, both of Kennerdell, Amanda E. Burgdorfer of Polk and Adam N. Burgdorfer of Kennerdell.
He also is survived by five brothers, Clyde J. Burgdorfer, Gerald B. Burgdorfer, Clifford E. Burgdorfer, William I. Watson, and Floyd H. Watson, all of Emlenton; three sisters, Rose Kunselman, Mrs. Tim (Mabel I.) Bechtel and Mrs. Shawn (Rita J.) Ison, all of Emlenton; and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunt and uncles.
In addition to his father and stepfather, he was preceded in death by his grandparents and a sister-in-law, Ruth Burgdorfer.
