John Adams, brought up his family in Clarion Co.
John Adams was born in St.
Petersburg, Pennsylvania, just north of the Clarion River. In the latter 1880s, John married Florence Amelia Mcdowell (October 6, 1864 - December
20, 1941) of St. Petersburg. Her father was William McDowell. John and Florence had seven children.

Elizabeth Luella Hagen

Elizabeth L. Delo, 88, of 508 North St., died at 11:25 a.m. Monday, July 31, 2000, in Northwest Medical Center at Franklin. Born Nov. 18, 1911, in Oil City, she was a daughter of William C. and Drucilla V. Sheats Hagan. She had lived in the Oil City area all of her life. Mrs. Delo was a graduate of Oil City High School and Welch's Business College. She was employed for 23 years as a teletypist for Western Union. Mrs Delo was a member of First Free Methodist Church of Oil City and was active in the church missions. She was married April 20, 1946, to Allen M. Delo, who died Jan. 10, 1997. Surviving are several nieces and nephews, including Drucilla Burneisen, Mrs. William (Shirley) Becker, Mrs. John (Ellen) Stiller, Mrs. David (Joan) Conway and Connie Baker, all of Oil City. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Delo was preceded in death by seven brothers, Lloyd Clark Hagan, William George Hagan, James Calvin Hagan, Herline Space Hagan, Harry Herbert Hagan, John Dewitt Hagan and Paul Wesley Hagan; and four sisters, Nellie Martha Hagan, Pearl Viola Hagan, Ellen Hannah Hagan and Margaret Foley Hopper. Mrs. Delo was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the Hutchinson Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home with the Rev. Michael Gardner, pastor of Pine City Free Methodist Church, and the Rev. George Oglesby, retired Free Methodist minister, officiating. Interment will be in Grove Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Free Methodist Church in Oil City or the Activities Director, in care of Barrett's Manor II.
