193. George Franklin Washington Delo
The tenth child of George did not remain in Springfield. As of 1893, he was employed by the Railroad in Kansas City, Mo. He later moved to Los Angeles .

194. Joshua Hunter Delo
Joshua worked in the Frisco shops in Springfield, Mo., with his older brother Clemens. He married Emma Hell and remained in Springfield all his life.
199. Alonzo Buffum Delo
Alonzo married Emma Almira Aggas (186? - November 13, 1903) on September 23, 1891. Emma was from W. Sunbury, Butler Co., Pennsylvania. Alonzo ran a portrait studio (Alonzo & Kermerer) in Pittsburgh; both he and his wife were artists. When Alonzo and Emma died of tuberculosis, their children were still in their early teens. They were subsequently raised by their aunt Alice.
On Friday November 13 1903 at the home of her father, Sylvanus AGGAS, near Butler PA, Mrs Emma DELO. The deceased was the wife of Alonzo B DELO, artist, 240 Dinwiddle Street and was 36 years of age.
Funeral Monday at West Sunberry. Husband and two sons survive her.
516. John Howe Delo
Alonzo's second son has resided in Pittsburgh most of his life as a bachelor. He was a machinist during the 1920s after having served with the Army in WWI. He has also resided in Michigan, where he operated a service station.
211. Daniel Fleming Delo
Daniel was born in Clarion Co., and pursued law at Allegheny College. He married Mary Frances Lewis (1857 - March 12, 1890) in 1870. They resided for a while at his father's home, including the last two years before Daniel died of consumption.
HENRY LEWIS, Postmaster Edinboro, was born in Meadville, Penn., Dec. 9, 1832, a son of Jesse and Sarah (Campbell) Lewis, who settled in this township in 1833. The former was a son of Lot and Jemima (Garwood) Lewis, who settled in Crawford Co. in 1797. The latter was a daughter of John and Mary (Laughery) Campbell. John Campbell was a son of Jane Campbell, who settled in this township in 1798. Jesse's children were Mary J., Henry, John R., Sarah M., James A., Harriet A., Martha A. and William W. Of these John enlisted in the three months' service in a Vermont regiment, served his time, and returned to Vermont, re-enlisting in the 5th Vt. Regt., raising a company and going out as Captain. He lost his left arm in the battle of the Wilderness; July, 1864, was transferred to the Veteran Corps, with rank of Colonel; was transferred to the regular army as Major, and finally retired with the rank of Colonel, and is now residing at Atlanta, Ga. James served in the three months' service, re-enlisted in the same year (1861) in the 83d P. V. I., and was killed at the battle of Gettysburg, July 2, 1863. Henry, our subject, enlisted July, 1862, in Co. B, 145th Penn. Regt., and participated in the battles of Fredericksburg, Chancellorsville and Gettysburg, where he lost his left arm, and was honorably discharged Dec. 22, 1863. He was twice married, first on Jan. 13, 1856, with Frances Fry, of Franklin township, by whom he had one child -- Mary F., widow of Daniel F. Delow, by whom she had one child -- Flora W. His present wife, whom he married Aug. 1866, was Catharine A. Shreve, of Pleasantville. Mr. Lewis is a member of the Presbyterian Church. He has been Postmaster at Edinboro since 1865.

Herman, as his father, was employed by the Pennsylvania Railroad and resided in Altoona. He worked for the Altoona-Logan Valley R.R., retiring as General Inspector. His wife was named Emma.
217. Oliver Frank Delo
0. Frank was born in Pittsburgh and died in Altoona. He married Nellie Dern (May 26, 1867 - May 10, 1949) who bore him two children. Frank was an employee of the Pennsylvania Railroad, rising to Chief Clerk.

523. Sarah Martha Delo
Sarah Martha (June 14, 1897 - ? ) became Mrs. Lloyd M. Morris on March 24, 1948. Mr. Morris held the rank of Colonel from his activities during the First World War. He was an employee of the Pennsylvania R.R. There were no children.

Lloyd M. Morris Col. Lloyd M. Morris, 94, of 213 Logan Boulevard, Altoona, died at 11:18 p.m., Monday, September 24, 1990, in Mercy Hospital, Altoona. Born December 4, 1895, in Holbrook, Greene County, he was a son of Samuel R. and Violet M. Morris. He was a 1915 graduate of Center Township High School, Rogersville. He was also a graduate of Penn State University. Morris was a veteran of World Wars I and II, serving with the U.S. Army Reserve. He was employed by the Pennsylvania Railroad in Altoona, retiring in 1960, and by Penn State University as director of the evening class center at the Altoona campus until 1940. Morris was a member of the Ward Avenue United Presbyterian Church in Altoona and the Altoona Kiwanis Club. He received the U.S. Department of Defense Distinguished Service Citation for civil defense in 1975; and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Certificate of Appreciation for community service in 1981. On March 24, 1948, he married Sara Martha Delo, who died May 10, 1983. His first wife, Helen M. Wood, died in 1943. Also deceased is a sister, Laura Gilbert, who died in 1989. 221. John Peale De leau
John was born in Cleveland, Ohio. He helped to start the first passenger airlines out of Los Angeles, and as an engineer with Edison Co., he constructed dams and engineered the drainage system for the Santa Maria Valley in southern California. He also was active in the development of oil fields in that area. John married Frances Margaret Coiner.John died in Los Angeles.

Jacqueline Blanche (August 18, 1916 - October 12, 1969) was born in Santa Maria, California. She married Ewing Miles Brown on August 22, 1955, who owned a motion picture production service in Hollywood. Mrs. Brown was in the field of public relations.
225. Roy Brown Delo
Roy was born in Altoona, yet raised in Elmira, where, as a boy he carried papers "walking the fences to avoid the high snow drifts of winter". Before he was 20, he started work for the Elmira National Bank. Banking became his profession for fifty three years. He retired in 1946 as Vice President of Mortgage & Loans, Marine Midland Bank of Southern New York. He had great patience and was liked by everyone. He was known as "Pop" to all of the employees. Roy married Lily Mason (August 27, 1875 - August 9, 1949) of Oxford, England, on October 26, 1902. She was one of Elmira's sought after "Belles". Maybe it was the top silk hat, cane and mustache that won her - or maybe the canoeing on the Chemung River.
532. Johnston Moore Delo
Johnston was also born in Altoona. He was a graduate of the Conservatory of Music, Potsdam, N.Y., then taught public school music in Elmira and Watkins Glen, New York. He took a second degree in medicine, 1909, and practiced medicine in Philadelphia. He married twice: Edith Hatfield, then Claire --?--. There were no children by either wife.
