	The Show Horse: This beautiful mare has proven herself not only to be a terrific broodmare, but also a very capable and versatile performer in the show ring. "Star" is an expert at Driving, excels when ridden Sidesaddle, and is a wonderful Dressage mount. Her classic head and explosive Arabian spirit brought her to a Reserve Champion halter title at the Egyptian Event, and three National and Scottsdale Top Tens. Her high knee action while harnessed is a beautiful thing to watch. She is an experienced driving horse, with Champion titles at Scottsdale, Rosie's Grand Opening Show, and the Egyptian Event, as well as a Reserve Championship at Scottsdale 2001. While sidesaddle is not her strongest event, she has pulled through to place Top 5 at Scottsdale 2000, and Top Ten at the 2000 US and Canadian Nationals. And last, but not least, she is currently competing as a sporthorse. She competes in Second Level Dressage, in which she has two Scottsdale top tens. She also placed Top Ten in all of her Sporthorse In Hand and Undersaddle classes at Scottsdale 2001, including Top Ten Sporthorse! Contact Del Mar Acres to arrange a breeding. The Broodmare: Her 4 beautiful young foals are doing very well in the show ring, and are going to be something great. African Pepsi WMA, a beautiful gray colt owned by Peppermint Ranch, has inherited Star's beautiful head, and placed Top Ten in his halter class at the 2000 Nationals and Scottsdale 2001. He is also the sire of African Pop WMA, the sire of the famous PR Dark Victory. PR Dark Victory (who is Star's great-grandcolt) dominated Scottsdale in 2000, and is the sire of WA Enchantment, Cytosk WMA, and Autumn Bey WMA, three of the best up-and-coming arabians in GH2 today! Star's other foal, African Sunset, who also is owned by Peppermint Ranch, is a beautiful gray mare with wonderful motion. She placed 2000 National Top Ten in Show Hack Jr. Horse, Native Costume, and Country English Pleasure Jr. Horse. At Scottsdale 2001, she had Top Tens in Native Costume, English Show Hack Open, Five Year Old Mares, and Country English Pleasure Jr. Horse. She also had Top Tens at the Egyptian Event.
Heat WMA is a gorgeous chestnut colt that was owned by Susan in GH. Sadly, he is no longer in the game. DMA African Diamond, was her first foal born here at Del Mar Acres. A beautfiul gray filly, she is Star's most succesful foal, even as a yearling. She now resides at Windmere Arabians, and placed Unanimous Champion Weanling Filly at the 2001 Nationals. In 2001, she was named 2001 Scottsdale Reserve Champion Yearling Filly, and Top Ten in the Filly Championship, and Egyptian Event Reserve Champion Yearling Filly. Star's newest foals, DMA Star Psyche and African Psyche, are both by Dream Psyche WMA. They are both gorgeous bays, and are sure to excel in the show ring! African Psyche had several Top Tens at Scottsdale 2001, including Top Ten English Pleasure Jr. Horse, and Western Pleasure Jr. Horse. She also had Top Tens at the 2001 Egyptian Event.
