Tepotzln
(pronounced, "te-pots-lan")
A lot of people here consider Tepotzln to be a kind of creepy, mysterious, place. It is surrounded by mountains that supposedly have some type of material in them that doesnt permit info to pass through. Usually, your cell phone wont work there, nor will trying to call out on a payphone. A lot of people here practice natural medicines and according to most people, witchcraft as well. This is also where I went to the carnival, but I didnt take any photos of when I went to the Carnival.

A photo of the main road, on the way to the Pyramid. You have to climb for nearly 2 hours to reach it, and the red dot on the photo is where the Pyramid is. I barely made it!

Once I reached the pyramid, I needed proof that I actually did it, because I could hardly beleive it myself. Anyhow, this is the view- showing the valley of Tepotzln. A pretty cool view, but Im not sure if its worth the climb. Unless youre the type who feels that self-satisfaction makes it all worth it, you might be disappointed, like my friend, Kristin, who was highly angry she had made the effort, just to see this! I thought it was pretty cool, though, and proud of myself for getting there.
