More Photos of Teotihuacan
A really cool photo of Chelsey and I on top of the Pyramid of the Sun. The background is part of the present-day city of Teotihuacan. Isnt the sky beautiful!?
Picture of Chelsey standing in the background of some of the ruins of the city of Teotihuacan. This is also the ancient valley of Teotihuacan.
Me standing beside a plant called a "maguey." An ancient Mexican alcoholic drink, called Pulchey (not sure about the spelling), is made from it. Pulchey is supposedly illegal around here, because it it very strong, but tastes very sweet. Also, Ive been told that some people put cow dung in it, too. It can be difficult to find, but I found some
at the Carnival in Tepotzlan. It tasted very good, but I dont know about it being all that strong- it didnt feel like it to me. I guess it depends on who makes it. Anyhow, in general, I am fascinated by these plants, just because they are so big and creepy looking.  I like them, though, and wanted to have a photo standing beside one!
A close-up of some of the ruins.
