Well! I`m here! I got to the airport yesterday at around 4:00p.m. I left home yesterday at 7 a.m. and everything went fine as far as getting to the airport and all. The lines were long at check-in, but went smoothly and quickly. I did what I needed to, said my good-byes (be proud of me for not making a big crying scene!), and got on the plane. Both plane rides were fine. I went to Atlanta, then to here from Atlanta. I met a really nice Mexican girl and her mother, who sat beside me on the plane. The girl was a college student at another one of the ITESM schools in Mexico. They helped me a little when we got to the airport. Customs was fine. I had filled out several forms on the plane because neither I nor the stewardess knew the correct forms. I just gave them all to the man at customs and he was in a major hurry so he just took the ones he needed, stamped my book, and said done. He said all I could have was a three-month student VISA, so, that`s what I took. I had a few problems with baggage, like, I couldn` find it! It took me almost 45 minutes to find my baggage station and when I finally did, I got there, and mine was one of a few pieces left. I was so glad nobody took it! I headed out of the main gates and there were the ITESM-Cuernavaca people waiting for me, at the FREEDOM restaurant. I was so happy to see them! One, because my luggage was hard to carry, and two, because I was extremely tired at this point. We waited about an hour and they held my bags while I walked around the airport, getting food and a phone card. I ate a slice of Domino`s Pizza (I was hungry, okay!!), but they gave me Salsa with it, so I ate it with hot salsa sause. It tasted pretty good! So good that I did it again, today! The ride from Mexico City to Cuernavaca felt very long, but was around 2 hours. It was so beautiful. The mountains and lights were gorgeous. It was light for about one-fourth of the trip, so I got to see some things in the light. I slept for most of the trip once we were out of Mxico (the state), and when we arrived to Cuernavaca I woke up. It is such a pretty, picturesque place. More details, later. When we got to the school, my family was there waiting. Thank goodness! I was tired! They are very nice, and I will talk more about them later, when I tell them about the website. I don` want to go into details until I have their permission. They took me home and we visited their neighbors for a fiesta right away! It was more of a family gathering to celebrate a Catholic Holiday, Los Reyes Magicas, about the kings that visited Jesus. It was fun. There was a cake with babies in it, and they had hot chocolate to drink. Everyone was very nice, and I met a lot of family. Okay. I have to go now. I want to talk about today, but I have already been on for a while. I don` want to hold up their phone line, so, I will give more details tommorrow, when I go to the schoool for orientation!
