Talked to Charles a bit today. I am so excited that he is coming next week. He is coming on the 1st of January through the 4th, and leaving when I go off to the airport. He will just drive home from there. This is his frist time coming to visit. I'm trying to get everything study-abroad related done early so that when he comes, I won't be too frantic and trying to finish it all.
I'm getting more used to my glasses. I actually like them, now. I think they look good. I hope I'm right!
I talked to my cousin's daughter, Daye, today. This was my first time talking to her in so long, like over a year. She is seven and is so cute. She's smart, too. She lives in Atlanta, so I don't get to see her often. I also talked to a friend of mine today, Aliya. I called her like a week ago and she never could get up with me. She and her roomate will be having an open room next year in their apartment and need someone to fill it! I really want to live there. I just can't deal with living on campus anymore, and especially not since I'll be student teaching next fall. No way. So, I have been to their apartment which is near campus and it is really nice. Washer and dryer inside, each person has their own bathroom, and the kitchen is spacious and nice. The entire complex is new, I beleive.
Well, that's pretty much it for today!
