| Only 9 days left! |

| I am in a slight state of confusion right now. I have a couple of questions that I need answered. First, I don't know whether or not I need to send a package to Mexico. See, I am an extreme over-packer. I try not to do it, but sure enough, every time, I pack too much. Therefore, I decided early that I would just mail a package down to Mexico before I get there, like a week ahead of time, so that it would already be there when I arrive. Well, I was looking at the rates for Fed EX and UPS and they are like 77.00- 88.00 dollars! It just doesn't make logical sense to pay that much! Plus, I've got to mail the stuff back, too. So, my mother and I decided that I would just buy a bigger suitcase, since the one that I have isn't the biggest, and this way, all I will have to do is take the suitcase and a carry-on, which is my laptop. Now, of course, this means that I will have to be a bit more selective when packing. I can't take every outfit I own. Nah- I'm kidding. I wasn't really going to do that. But still, I'll have to cut down. So, I went to the USPS (US Postal Service) webstie and found out that it would be a little cheaper to use them. Actually, a lot cheaper. 33.00. So, I could send both to and from at the same price as just one way with Fed Ex. But, I just don't know if I can trust USPS. I mean, what if they go on strike or something? Aren't they always going on strike? What if they lose my box? Now I don't know what to do. Okay. I guess I'll just go out looking for a bigger suitcase today. I have to decide, soon, though, because if I don't find the bigger suitcase, then I'll have to mail something, and I don't want to be doing this the day before, especially if Charles (my boyfriend) is going to be here. He wants to come visit a few days before and come with me to the airport to see me off from there. Another thing I'm confused about is my traveler's cheques. Do I need to get them in pesos or American Dollars. I'm sorry if this sounds like a stupid question but our study abroad guide that we got said that that is a difficult question. They said it depends on the rate and blah blah. I don't know what that means? I guess I'll go to the bank and ask someone there. At least it's early in the morning today and I have all day to figure this stuff out. Also, it's after-Christmas and I've been waiting for some sales! |
