Ugh. I guess if there's one ship that makes me want to purge, it's gotta be this one.
I see H/Hr as s ship devoid of interest, basically an easy out for fic writers who want an already round character like Hermione to be their front.
NOW: WHY AM I SO WORRIED H/Hr MAY COME TO PASS?
Rowling has admitted many times before that Hermione is based on her own self. Harry is based on no one. What does this mean? Hmm, well, as a fan fic writer myself, I fall into the habit many times of making a character much like myself...who eventually gets the main male character. While I would hope Rowling is made of better stuff, when it comes down to it, she may choose H/Hr. I hope not. I hope to God not.
WHY?
Why do I hate H/Hr and wish it would sink in a violent explosion to the very bottom f the ocean floor? I know why. IT'S LAME. Point blank. End of the damn story. If Harry and Hermione end up together, it would make the trio completely unbalanced. It would give Hermione a advantage over Ron in Harry's mind. She can offer him frienship and SEX. Unless Rowling makes the loving trio a real loving trio, H/Hr would create a distrubance in the "force." I hope it NEVER NEVER comes to pass.
