There are nine planets in our solar system. Some are large. Some are small. Some are close to the sun. Some are very far away.
Mercury, Venus, Earth and Mars are the "inner" planets.
Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto are the "outer" planets.
