1990 Jeep Cherokee Pioneer
No real modifications to this one yet, been working on keeping the thing running.  It has it's issue, but for the most part a good vehicle.

All I've done to make it better than factory is get tires put on it... Wal-Mart Liberator All-Terrain 235/75-15.  I've heard they are excellent in bad weather, they grip well in rain and standing water, but we'll have to see how they do when the snow hits. No mud, either, but I hear they're about average for that terrain.

I made a mount to store the spare tire on the roof to give me more hauling space in the back.  Someone before me put Grand Cherokee snowflake wheels on it.  Doesn't look too bad and they're and inch wider than the stock steelies that came on the thing from the factory. 

I also put some inexpensive off-road lights on the roof, cheap mod with stuff I had lying around.  Also mounted a couple of 55w mini-spots on the rear bumper and wired them into the backup lights.

So far I haven't driven it anywhere I haven't or couldn't have taken my 1984 Toyota Celica... but that was one tough little buggy.  If you know anyplace in or near Daviess County, KY for a newbie wheeler to get in a little fun and practise, shoot me an email. (On the index page.)

Stock Jeep, stock height, but I had to install "Helper Springs" to boost the leaves back up to spec.
I seem to be a little bit light-oriented.  I'll load some night pics when I get 'em shot.
It'll climb a little, as you can see from these poser shots.
Ya shoulda seen it when I first got it.  It was used as a work truck and had every manner of nastiness in the back.
