Subject: Urgent Prayer Request

To Deacon Paul Wong, Brothers and sisters in Jesus Christ.

Please pray for my brother KOK CHEE HON who has contacted a serious illness.   Two tumors have been discovered in his intestine less than one week ago.  The doctor had conducted an operation this afternoon (Dec. 18, 2000) and discovered the tumors could not be removed due to its critical condition.

The TJC Bercham deacons, deaconess and members have prayed for him in the hospital on Sunday afternoon.  During the prayer my brother saw a very bright light appeared and he immediately felt relief.  He himself is praying earnestly and requested us to pray for him in this critical time. Till now he is unable to have solid food due to the blockage of the tumors.

Please pray for him through the love, mercy and power of Jesus Christ.

Emmanuel !

Dear Brothers and Sisters of this Forum,

Grace to you and peace from our Lord Jesus Christ, HalleluYah!

I just received this e-mail from Malaysia.  We had prayed for Kok Chee Hon's serious illness, and it looks like he was recovering until this morning when he became abnormal.  When we have a difficult situation such as what is described in this post there should be much faith, prayer and fasting (Mt. 17:20-21).

Let us all pray in one accord for the complete recovery of  Kok Chee Hon in the Name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (Yahshua ha' Messiah).  May God bless you.  Shabbat Shalom!

Dear Deacons, Brothers and Sisters:

Hallelujah ! Praise our Lord Jesus Christ and thank all who are praying for my brother KOK CHEE HON's serious illness (Pancreas, Stomach and Intestines full of tumors which cannot be removed by doctor). He had recovered quickly during the past few days and felt peaceful. He repented of his sin and accepted Christ to be his Saviour and prayed earnestly.

Everything turned out smoothly but suddenly this morning at about
11.00 a.m he became abnormal and was possessed by evil spirit. He was full of strength, and had a very fierce face.  He started to scold and spoke nonsense. Although he did not have any solid food and drink for the past 8 days and had surgical operation on Monday he now has abnormal strength and was able to kick strongly. All the relatives who are non-Christian are now strongly depending on our church to pray for him.

With the love and power of Jesus Christ please pray for him and cast out the evil spirit from his body.

Dear Brothers and Sister in this Forum,

Grace to you and peace from our Lord Jesus Christ, HalleluYah!

Yesterday I received two e-mail letters from Deacon Micah Kok of Bercham, W. Malaysia.  The latest post came last evening and the earlier one came in the morning.  His brother Kok Chee Hon's condition has improved tremendously.  Here is an excerpt from his post:

Amazingly, all the tumors in the pancreas, stomach and intestines seemed to have disappeared.  Massive dark waste matter and fluid were discharged continously out of his body since yesterday. The doctor-in-charge told us that Mr. Kok could be released from the hospital even this coming Friday [Dec. 29, 2000] if we agreed.  Praise our Lord Jesus Christ.

Praise God, it's a miracle!  But, wait a minute, he's not out of the woods yet!  Read this!

Although he seems to have fully recovered from his illness but he has yet to overcome the spiritual combat.

What kind of spiritual combat?  You can read all about it for yourself in Deacon Kok's e-mails.  There are other problems too.

Another problem is Mr. Kok's wife is against water baptism. Please pray to our Lord Jesus Christ to remove her stubbornness and ignorance.

At the end of the posts there is a prayer for the complete healing and total deliverance of Mr. Kok Chee Hon. Let us all be united together to fight the common enemy in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  May God bless you.

Dear Deacon Paul Wong,

Praise our Lord Jesus Christ! Thank you very much for your concern and prayer for  Mr. Kok Chee Hon.

There is one major point to be clarified:  My brother Mr. Kok Chee Hon is not a member of our church, He is not a Christian and he is a heathen.

We have just come back from the
General Hospital and his condition is improving. He can walk and take some solid food. The major problem is still that when we prayed for him, and after he prayed for a few seconds he was again murmuring with evil sound (Though the charm [chanting] is weaker than yesterday) and behave abnormally.  Whenever we stopped praying he was back to normal immediately.  He felt and saw a green evil liquid in his body . When we talked about baptism, the evil spirit immediately caused him to feel uncomfortable.  At one time the devil spoke out to say discouraging words about baptism.

Another problem is Mr. Kok's wife is against water baptism. Please pray to our Lord Jesus Christ to remove her stubbornness and ignorance.

Please continue to pray for Mr.Kok and us for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ.

We thank you very much for your kind concern and your message.

Subject: Continuous prayers requested!!

Dear Deacons, Brothers and Sisters in Christ:

Thank you very much for the prayer and concern of my brother Kok Chee Hon, a non-Christian.

We are facing real spiritual combat with the evil spirits during the past few days.  Mr. Kok Chee Hon's condition is improving from possession of fierce and evil spirits to coma, and he is back to his concious  mind this morning.  At least seven evil spirits have been  cast out of the body of Mr. Kok

After the first prayer this morning Mr. Kok clearly saw three devils in the room. One look like Ultraman who is pink in colour and one look like a black worm and the most powerful and evil one is in green liquid form.  Although the evil spirits are out of his body, they are still trying to rush back into the body.  During the two prayers this morning, after my brother Mr. Kok said a  few words of "Hallelujah," the words changed into Siamese Charm [Thai Buddhist chant] and his face turned horrible.  When he was able to say "Amen" his face and condition immediately turned back to normal.

Mr. Kok told us that while saying "Hallelujah" there were about seven other sounds like Siamese and Burmese charm [chant] were fighting against the sound of "Hallelujah." We are very much concerned about this. Please pray for us.

Amazingly, all the tumors in the pancreas, stomach and intestines seemed to have disappeared.  Massive dark waste matter and fluid were discharged continuously out of his body since yesterday. The doctor-in-charge told us that Mr. Kok could be released from the hospital even this coming Friday [
Dec. 29, 2000] if we agreed.  Praise our Lord Jesus Christ.

Although he seems to have fully recovered from his illness but he has yet to overcome the spiritual combat. Please pray for my brother Mr. Kok Chee Hon and us to have the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ who will provide us with spiritual power to bind the devil and totally cast out of all the evil spirits

Subject: Further Prayers Requested

Deacon Paul Wong, Dn.Chin, Brothers and Sisters;

Hallelujah ! Praise our Lord Jesus Christ. Thank you very much for continous prayer for Mr. Kok Chee Hon.

With the mercy of our Lord and the power of the Holy Spirit, the last green liquid evil sprit had been cast out from Mr. Kok.  He is relieved and is now back to normal (without any chanting during prayer).

Last night Mr.Kok discussed with his wife about his willingness to be baptised into Christ. His wife was angry and strongly opposed and threatened with divorce.  Mr. Kok is very sad about this incident.  Please pray for him and his wife to overcome the blockage.

Your concern and love in Christ are very much appreciated. May God remember your kindness.

Dear Deacon Micah Kok,

Grace to you and peace from our Lord Jesus Christ, HalleluYah!

Praise and thank God the last evil spirit has been cast out of Mr. Kok Chee Hon and he is now back to his normal self.  I am sorry to learn that Mrs. Kok objects very strongly to her husband receiving the water baptism.  I am not surprised because the devil will use every means to prevent the baptism from taking place.  It is comparable to Pharoah trying to prevent the Israelites from crossing the Red Sea that symbolizes water baptism (Ex. 14:3-12; 1 Cor. 10:1-2).  Whenever a true and correct baptism into the Lord Jesus Christ is to be administered the devil will try to stop it.  I have personally experienced many cases of the devil's obstruction in baptism but I shall testify just one of them.

This case involves a middle-aged woman who had cancer of the spine.  She had been bed-ridden for several months.  After preaching for a few weeks I talked to her about the importance of receiving the true and correct water baptism into the Lord Jesus Christ.  She wanted to be baptized but her husband objected very strongly.  He even threatened to sue me if something happened to his wife during the baptism.  The evening before the baptism my wife and I prayed the whole night.  That morning was a Sabbath day.  Since this woman could hardly walk I had to carry her into my car, then also helped her to slowly walk into the sea which is our baptismal site.  She could not bend her body forward because she had steel frames around her torso due to the spinal cancer.  I took her to a place in the sea where the depth of the water was up to her chest.  All she did was to bow her head and prayed,  I waited for a big surf to come and cover her completely.  I also became wet.  After the baptism into the Lord Jesus Christ she looked up to heaven and saw a vision of a heavenly city with people wearing white garments.

I helped her walk back to the changing room.  My wife and another church sister helped her change the clothes.  After she removed the steel frame from her torso she bent forward and touched her toes.  My wife and the sister were scared that she might hurt herself.  She did it again and said, "Praise Jesus, I'm healed."  After the baptism we drove back to our home for the Sabbath Service, washing of feet and Holy Communion.  Our house was situated on the slope of a hill. You have to walk up 22 steps to get to the front door.  The sister who had been baptized walked up to our home with little help.  When she got home after the Sabbath Service her husband who had objected very strongly to her baptism had changed his attitude after seeing the healing.

On Monday her husband took her to the hospital for her usual check up.  On Wednesday her doctor called her back to his office.   He held two x-ray photos, one on each hand and said to her, "Look at these two x-ray photos.  One was taken more than a week ago and the second one was taken on Monday.  I just don't understand it.  The first photo very clearly showed the cancer in your spine.  The second photo showed no sign of any cancer at all.  I am your doctor and I know that I did not heal you.  Tell me, Mrs. ..... Did you see another doctor?  Please tell me who is the doctor that you saw!"  Our dear sister looked at her doctor and said, "Yes, I did see another doctor.  He is the greatest doctor in the world.  His name is Jesus."

Mr. Kok Chee Hon has also been healed by the greatest doctor in the world - the Lord Jesus Christ.  Only Jesus could have removed the tumors in his pancreas, stomach and intestines.  Even the doctors in the hospital admitted they could not remove the tumors.  Only Jesus Himself could have drivenout out the evil spirits.  We have no power by ourselves and we are only God's instruments.  If Mrs. Kok still cannot accept the two miracles that the Lord Jesus Christ had performed on her husband I have to conclude that she must be hardhearted like Pharaoh who would not change even after experiencing the ten plagues in Egypt

Micah, I know it must be very difficult and painful for you to make a decision that might cause your own brother and sister-in-law to divorce.  I cannot give you any direct advice that will cause family relationships to break up.  You might consider the words of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ who said:  "Do not think that I came to bring peace on earth.  I did not come to bring peace but a sword.  For I have come to set a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law.  And a man's foes will be those of his own household.  He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me.  And he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me.  And he who does not take his cross and follow Me is not worthy of Me.  He who finds his life will lose it, and he who loses his life for My sake will find it." (Mt. 10:34-39)

Let me place you in a scenerio that may help you to make a decision.  Imagine that you are in the same position as Moses except that instead of leading thousands upon thousands of Israelites to leave Egypt you are just leading your brother Kok Chee Hon to leave the sinful world.  You have come to the water's edge and the devils are closing in on both of you.  Your relatives are weak in faith and they are afraid to cross the Red Sea (Ex. 14:10-12).  What will you say to them?  Will you say to them like Moses did: "Do not be afraid.  Stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which He will accomplish for you today.  For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall see again no more forever.  The LORD will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace" (Ex. 14:13-14).  Moses and the Israelites had two choices.  One is not to move but stay back in Egypt and become slaves again.  Two is to go forward and cross the waters in faith believing in the One True God in the Lord Jesus Christ to be with them.  Moses and the Israelites crossed the Red Sea.

To me there is only one choice for Kok Chee Hon. He cannot preserve his status-quo.  Let me tell you why!  He had just got rid of seven evil spirits from his body.  Read what our Lord Jesus Christ said:  When an unclean spirit goes out of a man, he goes through dry places, seeking rest, and finds none,  Then he says, 'I will return to my house from which I came.'   And when he comes, he finds it empty, swept, and put in order.  Then he goes and takes with him seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter and dwell there; and the last state of that man is worse than the first.  So shall it also be with this wicked generation." (Mt. 12:43-45)  Does Mrs. Kok want to have 49 evil spirits enter her husband?  Does anybody like that?

There are three ways to overcome Satan.  "And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death." (Rev. 12:11)  When Kok Chee Hon is baptized into the Lord Jesus Christ he will be washed by the blood of the Lamb (Jn. 1:29; Rev. 1:5; Jn. 19:34-35; 1 Jn. 5:6-8).  Kok Chee Hon will give testimony of the healing and deliverance that he has received recently.  He must be brave and not afraid to die for the Lord Jesus Christ.  These are the three ways to overcome Satan.

Micah, you have made a very bold and courageous decision to write to the ARK Forum and requested all the brothers and sisters in Christ from different denominational churches all over the world to pray for your brother who has tumor in his body and also is possessed with seven evil spirits.  Many Christians would have kept it within the family and relatives and not let others know about it.  Praise and thank our Lord Jesus Christ who have answered our prayers.  You know why?  Because we don't fight amongst ourselves but follow the Lord's teachings to love one another and bear each other's burdens Jesus has promised this to His disciples: "Assuredly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.  Again, I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done  for them by My Father in heaven.  For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them." (Mt. 18:18-20)  We all agree that Mr. and Mrs. Kok Chee Hon must be saved and we pray for their salvation in the Lord Jesus Christ.

I want to give you a word of encouragement.  With hundreds, perhaps thousands of Christians from different denominational churches all over the world praying for you, your family, your brother Kok Chee Hon and his wife, and your church in Bercham, Malaysia we shall all enjoy the victory in Jesus very soon. and read about the defeat of satan and his evil forces.  May all glory, honor and power be given to our Lord Jesus Christ.  HalleluYah!  Amen.

May God bless you.

Praise our Lord Jesus Christ.  HalleluYah !

We are very much obliged for your love in Christ to have continuous prayers for Mr. Kok Chee Hon, and we are very thankful to our Lord Jesus Christ.

Praise our Lord Jesus, all the demons have been cast out from Mr. Kok.  He is now back to normal and was discharged from the hospital yesterday.

We just paid him a visit.  He feels stable and is not so depressed as compared to a few days ago when his wife strongly opposed his accepting baptism.  He is now willing to accept baptism and going to inform us as soon as possible.  Please continue to pray for him and his stubborn wife.  Pray that our Lord Jesus Christ continues to lead and protect him and bind all those opposing spirits against baptism.

Thank you very much for your kindness. Emmanuel!

Dear Deacon Micah Kok,

Grace to you and peace from our Lord Jesus Christ, HalleluYah!

I am joyful to learn that your brother Kok Chee Hon has been fully delivered from demonic possession, discharged from the hospital and is now willing to accept baptism.  Let me tell you that we should not be too complacent and relaxed, thinking that the spiritual battle is over.  It is not.  Just think!!  The Israelites have won during every one of the 10 plagues but they still have not left Egypt yet.  Until they crossed the Red Sea there was every possibility they could be enslaved again.  Your brother may be now back to normal but he is still under the dominion of sin.  Until he is washed by the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sins through baptism into Him Mr. Kok will still be under the dominion of the devil (Rev. 1:5; 12:11).  He needs to know how his sins are remitted through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and in His Blood (Rom. 3:25).  Evangelists in the Early Apostolic Church preached the Kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ before baptizing believers (Acts 8:12).  Mr. Kok also needs to know how the name of Jesus Christ is applied during the baptism (Acts 10:43; 2:38; 1 Cor. 6:11).  You can look up our web sites on the following subjects.

1.  Blood of the Lamb -       http://www.geocities.com/blood_of_the_lamb

2.  The Kingdom of God -   http://www.geocities.com/kingdom_ark

3.  Baptism in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ -  http://www.geocities.com/baptism_pw/name.html

Let me relate a recent (September 2000) baptism in Houston, Texas, U.S.A.  An elderly couple had made a decision to be baptized.  They waited for their daughter (during her leave from work in Los Angeles) to witness their baptism in Houston.  We went to the Jacinto river (near Humble, Texas) for the baptism.  When the man came to the river bank he changed his mind.  He gave all kinds of excuses not to receive the baptism.  His wife was baptized that morning and she also received the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues on the same day in the chapel where we administered Washing of Feet and Holy Communion.  Up till today the man still did not indicate he wants to be baptized.  Delaying baptism often leads to uncertainly later on.

Some people think a person must know a lot of the Bible before receiving water baptism.  This is not true.  Salvation is knowing and believing in the Lord Jesus Christ and not having biblical knowledge.  Let me cite a few examples from the Bible.  The jailer was an unbeliever who wanted to kill himself before he asked Paul and Silas this important question, "Sirs, what must I do to be saved?"  So they said, " Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household." (Acts 16:25-31)  Some ministers preach that is all one needs to do - just believe on the Lord Jesus Christ.  That is not what Paul and Silas did.  Let us continue reading. "Then they spoke the word of the Lord to him and to all who were in his house. And he took them the same hour of the night and washed their stripes.  And immediately he and all his family were baptized." (Acts 16:32-33)  Paul and Silas did not even wait until the morning to baptize the jailer and his family.  They baptized them immediately that same night.  What's the hurry?  Here's the reason.

Baptism into the Lord Jesus Christ is for the remission of sins (Acts 2:38).  An unbaptized person is "dead in trespasses".  Baptism is burial with the Lord Jesus Christ and be made alive together with Him, having received forgiveness of trespasses (Col. 2:12-13).  Mr. Kok is spiritually dead in trespasses.  He needs to be made alive in Christ as soon as possible.  The longer he waits and delays his baptism the more chances he gives the devil opening for a renewed attack on him.

When Paul could not decide whether or not to receive baptism Ananias urged him; "And now why are you waiting?  Arise and be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on the name of the Lord." (Acts 22:16)  Baptism is for washing away sins.  No wonder Ananias urged Paul not to delay his baptism.

Philip preached to the eunuch about Jesus Christ while they were sitting in the chariot (Acts 8:26-35).  "Now as they went down the road, they came to some water,  And the eunuch said, 'See here is water.  What hinders me from being baptized?  Then Philip said, If you believe with all your heart, you may.'   And he answered and said, 'I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.'  So he commanded the chariot to stand still.  And both Philip and the eunuch went down into the water, and he baptized him." (Acts 8:36-38)

These three examples that I have given - the baptisms of the jailer, the apostle Paul and the Ethiopian eunuch have something in common.  The baptisms were administered immediately without delay and there were no requirements of extensive Biblical knowledge, just simple faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

On the Day of Pentecost three thousand souls were baptized after listening to just one sermon given by the apostle Peter (Acts 2:37-41).  They were also baptized immediately on the same day that they heard the sermon.

It is very unfortunate that some churches/ministers do not follow the apostolic pattern or example.  They make believers go through a lot of man-made rules and procedures before administering baptism to them.  This is not biblical.  I would like you to notice what the Early Apostolic Church did after the baptism.  "And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread and in prayers."  (Acts 2:42)  Newly baptized believers must participate in the local church activities.  It is a good policy for the local church minister to ask the baptismal candidate before baptism to make a commmitment to join the local church and learn more truths, worship, pray together, have fellowship, have meals and participate in other church activities.  In this way the newly baptized Christian can have spiritual growth in the years to come.

I am sure many brothers and sisters in the ARK Forum will be anticipating to receive news that states your brother Mr. Kok Chee Hon is already baptized.  Mr. Kok does not need to wait for his wife to baptize with him on the same day.  Many married couples that I know personally receive baptism at different times.  The brothers and sisters in the ARK Forum will continue to pray for you, your family, Bercham Church and also Mr. and Mrs. Kok Chee Hon.  May God bless you.
