Grey stepped cautiously through the fresh corpses of the Seiryuun guards
and knight.  It was truly a gruesome sight to behold.  Yet, he'd seen
worse.  Beige (ya know, the color^_^) merely sniffed, grimaced and walked
on while running a hand through her hair.
"Whoever did that was thorough," she said wryly.
        Grey smiled,"More thorough than you?"
She shot him an icy glare then began to giggle.  "I must say one thing
for the doer.  Whoever it was, they made it easy going for us."  Grey
looked at her with a puzzled expression.  "Look around.  No crowds."
Indeed, the streets were nearly deserted.  They had expected the usual
hustle and bustle of a great nation's capitol city, but instead found
this carnage and desertion.  Neither of them liked crowds.  The looks
were almost too much to bare.
Both wore peculiar outfits of their own designs.  They would be
considered odd in any country.  Grey wore a pair of dusty-blue handwraps
that were never taken off.  A long, sleeveless duster hung from his broad
shoulders and ended at his calves.  The long laces of soft leather shoes
wound up to just below the knee caps.  His pants were of the same blue as
the handwraps, his shirt was of an odd, silvery fabric that clung to his
body, meant to suggest.  He wore two silver earrings in the shapes of
tiny, looped dragons, which swung slightly whenever he moved his head
quickly.  The most bizzare thing about him was his short chopped hair,
which shone bright blue in the sunlight and highlighted the icy blue of
his eyes.  He carried small rod in a leather holster at his waist, and a
throwing-star was at either wrist.
His companion, Beige, was just as odd.  She wore plain gray trousers and
leather boots.  Her crimson hair was so short, it seemed it had been
shaved off at one point, yet it still touched her ears.  Her coat was
dark green that would have blended in well in the forest.  The shirt she
wore under it was enough to make anyone blush.  It was a tight fitting
silk shirt of the same green that seemed to be so shearly cut, it might
as well have been transparent.  It had no sleeves and a neckling that
exposed much of the bossom.  At her hips, she carried an oddly shaped
sword and a dagger that appeared to be made of crystal.  Her eyes were as
black as coal, and burned as if they were on fire.
Both moved with a cat-like grace, scanning the area for some idea as to
what had happened.  There was no sign of forced entry anywhere, no more
bodies, nothing.
"Well, this is odd," said Grey, stiffling a yawn,"How about we find an
inn that isn't closed, if there is one," He nudged Beige slightly ,"Maybe
there'll be some pretty serving girls for ya."
Beige grinned mischeiviously,"The last time we stopped somewhere like
that, I earned a slap and a lost tooth from a pretty young thing," She
giggled,"But what you had was worse.  All those soldiers in their
uniforms.  How could you resist, right?" his blush was satisfying,"I'm
surprised that big one you grabbed didn't-" an icy feeling pierced her
and she shivered.  Grey did the same.  Magic was being used nearby.
The walked tward it out of curiosity.  It was a gift they shared.  Both
could wield magic, of course, but they could also sense someone else
using it.  It was something new in the world, and no one knew what to
make of it.  It had never bothered either of them.  It had even come in
handy once or twice.
They turned the corner, and Beige stopped in her tracks.  Several women
were in the square.  Not just women, but goddesses!  At least in her
eyes.  A small woman, dressed in pink and white, shouted the word
"justice" at a shrouded figure.  Her figure was most pleasing.  Another
woman stood behind her, almost cowering, with a golden tail between her
legs.  A gold dragon!  They were known for their lust during breeding
season, and if Beige's memory served, it was the middle of that time now.
But neither of them caught her eye as much as the red-head who had her
back turned to Beige.  That red-haired vickson was as shapely as a
goddess.  At least from the back.  But if the back was this good, the
front would be even better.  Beige began drooling.
Grey looked at her in pity and turned to scan the square.  He paused and
began to blush.  Several men were in the area as well.  One was dressed
all in white and had blue hair hair, not too much different from his own,
and appeared to be made of stone.  Grey blushed harder at the thought of
that.  A tall, BLONDE man clad in light armor and weilding a huge sword
was standing next to the red-headed woman and looked confused.  His chest
was SO broad it made Grey sweat.  Grey was willing to bet you could grate
cheese on his abs.  One glance at what he thought was a man made him
grimace.  It was a fox, and Grey didn't go out for THAT kinda thing.  The
shrouded figure looked like a man, but it was hard to tell, so Grey
ignored it.  Instead he looked at the Greek God sitting on the roof of a
near by house.  With purple hair, and what looked like a walking staff,
he had an almost too attractive look for Grey.  His eyes never seemed to
open, but that didn't matter to Grey.  Grey began to wonder how many of
them he could have before he left.
In unison, Grey and Beige gathered themselves and walked confidently
toward the main group in the square.
As Beige got closer to the red-head, she heard Beige approach and
started to turn.  Beige stared in shock.  The girl was as flat as a board
in comparison to the other women.  After a breif pause, Beige hastily
turned sharply and grabbed the hand of the short, well indowed women to
her left saying,"Hello there, and who are you my justice inflicting
temptress."
"Hi, I'm Amelia!" She said cheerfully, then gave Beige a puzzled
look,"Temptress?" She looked at the red-head questioningly," Miss Lina,
is she what you told me about?  Is she......gay?"  She sid the last word
in a whisper.
"Looks that way Amelia," Lina said bluntly, crossing her arms and
looking pissed.
"Oh...okay!"Amelia smiled even more cheerfully, and shook Beige's hand
so hard, she shook Beige's body,"It would be a crime against justice if
you didn't express yourself!"  Beige wanted to vomit.
Grey slid his hand across the blonde's shoulders and said
seductively,"Hi.  I'm Grey.  And who are you?"
"Oh, I'm Goury," he replied with a dumb look on his face,"How are ya?"
The man of stone looked like he was in pain, so Grey went over to
comfort him.  "Don't worry.  There's plenty of me to go around." Grey
licked the side of his cheek.  The stone man looked shocked, and pushed
Grey away.
"I don't swing that way, buddy."
"Oh, come on Zelgadis, come outta the closet!" The cry came from the man
on the roof.
Zelgadis blushed and started walking away.  Grey looked at the roof man.
He had an odd feeling to him.  Recognition flared in Grey's mind.
"You're a Mozaku!" he cried with joy.  The last Mozaku he met had been
very gracious towards him.  True, it's original hope was to cause Grey
pain by exposing him to a village, but Grey never hid who he was.  The
Mozaku had left hungry and blushing.
"And you two are Grey and Beige.  One of my kind told me about you," he
said with a grin," My name is Xelloss.  This is quite and interesting
group you've stumbled upon." His grin widened.
Grey pouted for a moment before returning to Goury, who was the only one
who wasn't out of reach.  He smiled warmly, but soon frowned as he saw
Lina glaring at him.  Her eyes were like burning red coals.  Ice pierced
his bones.  He had barely thrown a shield up before a Flare Arrow hit it.
He grabbed the rod at his waist and hit the button on it's side.  The
rod extended into a staff.  He whirled it and missed Lina as she jumped
back.  He pushed the button again, and the staff contracted into the rod
once again.  Placing the rod in it's holster, he took Goury's arm and
began to strole down the street.
"Maybe we could talk in private for a moment, Goury," he said
casually,"It seems I'm not welcomed by her."  Ice filled him so that he
couldn't move.  That had never happened before.
        "FIRE BALL!!!!!!"
Goury jumped out of the way as the ball of energy hit Grey.  When the
dust cleared, Grey was gone.  Beige stared in shock at Lina.  During that
time, Beige couldn't move.  Beige looked around nervously.  No one seemed
flustered.
"And you!," Lina turned to face Beige," You turned me down as soon as
you saw my chest!"
Beige wrapped herself in a thick shield.  Lina glared at her.  Deep,
wintery ice filled Beige from head to toe.  Her mind could focus on
nothing but the chill.  Blindly, she shot fire spells out at random, just
to warm up.  She was vaguely aware of shadows shwirling around Lina, and
the surrounding people moving out of the way.  Except for the shrouded
form, who just stared as if studying the events.
A large pillar of black lightning formed in Lina's hands.
"RAGNA BLADE!!!!!" Lina screamed.  Beige felt the ice melt from her
bones, replaced with a deeper feeling of sorrow.  Beige vanished.
The others looked at Lina.  Xelloss giggled.
"Just because one of them flirted with Goury.  My, my Lina.  Temper,
temper."
Lina glared at Xelloss, then at Goury before she grabbed his ear.
"What were you doing with him?  Don't I mean anything to you?  Not even
you can be that stupid!  If I ever catch yo..."  Her voice and Goury's
portests vanished as they turned the corner.
