Along with the poem/song, turn in one paragraph explaining your choice: Why did you pick the one you did? What elements of poetry that we discussed in class are present in it? What do you think the writer was trying to say and what does it mean to you personally?
If you have written a poem that is appropriate, you may use it instead.
You will read the poem as well as your paragraph in front of the class on Friday, February 14th.
