about: Muaha. An undead vaale! Frye is named after the "ghost," Able Frye from the book Hangman's Curse. Frye the vaale is...well, a haunter. Normally easy-going and friendly, Frye doesn't get out much because he's afraid he'll scare everyone. (It's not easy being dead, y'know.) He has a few select friends, and every year on Halloween, he roams the pastures, living the fable of the Kuro Iki ghost.

about: Zanaso is one of only two in the Kuro Iki herd without wings, and for that he is sometimes mocked by the other young vaale his age. He makes up for it in toughness, though, and is well on his way to being a great warrior. He doesn't use his strength against his fellowvaale, but instead ignore their teasing and is friendly to them all.

about: Whoa. When Kaleidoscope was introduced to my other vaale, they seemed to be instantly put into a trance. Kal's eerie white eyes and almost sickening coat colouration make for a rather...err...interesting time. They soon got used to him, though, and he appears to be a very fun-loving brute and enjoys racing and skyflying.

about: Masenka is one of only two wingless Nightmare vaale in the herd. He is constant companions with Zanaso, and if anyone dare ease them about having no wings, Masenka will thrash them, despite Zanaso's objections. The two are polar opposites. Masenka's bad attitude and quick temper make him a good fighter, but sometimes he "hasteneth to the spoil" a little too quickly.
