| Vegetarian Oat Burgers | ||||||||||||
| 4 cups water 1/2 cup soy sauce 1/3 cup expeller pressed canola oil (or other vegetable oil, cold pressed) 1 cup nuts of your choice, chopped coarsely 1 clove garlic, minced 1/4 whole onion, diced 3 tablespoon fresh basil, minced 1 tablespoon fresh sage, minced 1 teaspoon ground coriander 4 cups rolled oats Place all ingredients except oats in a pot and bring to a boil. Stir in oats and immediately remove from the heat. Cover and set aside to cool. Preheat oven to 350F. Form into 10 patties and bake 15 minutes each side until crusty. Balances Vata and Kapha. |
