Quietus is the Discipline of silent death, but in normal Vampire it comes across as being more of a Discipline of Disease. I didn't like that, so here's my take.
* Silence of Death As the normal Level 1 power.
** Spear of Longinius By coating a weapon in a point of her own blood an Assamite can use it to stake vampires as though it were a wooden stake. The weapon must be large enough to accept a Blood point of Vitae, and can be used on any weapon that's capable of impaling (arrows, knives, swords, spears, etc.) The Blood does not come off easily and remains capable of staking for an entire night.
*** Taste of Death The vampire can efffectively spit blood at her foes, causing aggravated damage to those hit The attack is near silent and leaves horrible acidic wounds on Kindred and kine alike. The acidic nature of the vitae can even effect inanimate objects. For every Blood point invested in the spittle, the attack does 2 dice of aggravated damage. The Assamite must roll Stamina+Athletics to hit a target. The range for the attack is 4 feet for every point of Strength the Assamite has.
**** Direct Silence The vampire can now prevent specific individuals (or objects) from making any noise whatsoever. In order to accomplish this, the Assamite must touch the Target and roll Willpower against a Difficulty of the Targets Willpower (or 7 for inanimate objects). And consult the table below. 1 success one turn 2 successes one scene 3 successes one night 4 successes one week 5 successes one month
***** Blood Agony As the normal Level 4 Quietus power. |
