When Hai Nguyen says that "I do agree with her on the fact that girls become
expose to what society think girls should be and they change so they can
fit in, feel belong. IN doing that, they become someone else..:>)..."
This is what society has done to us. We are given a structure that we are
suppose to follow and if we don't we get the impression that we will be ousted
by society. In such a world where fitting in is everything it's everyone's
dream to be accepted and liked by all. If we don't achieve that, we have
failed.
* This was a response posted to the electronice message forum on the topic
of gender. I can't remember greatly the author or the title but I know
that this was a strong topic discussed within the class and I felt a very
strong point was made within my response. It was even better emphasized
with the help from another student I never met with.
