Here we will visit Georgetown
then we will dash over to the Lewes
and Fenwick Island areas.

A grand old building!

Georgetown was founded in 1791
and is the county seat of Sussex County.
It is often referred to as
Delaware's "Dixie."




Before we travel over
to the seaside, we will stop here
and get some refreshment.

Zwaanendael Museum.

This historical building was modeled
after part of ancient Town Hall,
Hoorn, Holland and exhibits
early Dutch items.




Historic Fenwick Lighthouse.

Circa 1858
Situated on the Delaware/Maryland
State line, just south of Fenwick Island
this lighthouse has warned ships away from
Fenwick Shoals for 142 years!
