Oscar was very cool, I mean come on, he had his very own place. Not to mention his own car. In my opinion he wasn't poor. That was his lifestyle choice.
I made this page after passing through "Elmo in Grouchland" on the satellite dish.What surprised me was when Elmo fell into Oscar's hometown of Grouchland. To my amazement it looked alot like Metro Manila! So much clutter all over the place. Crowded with so many people...er....muppets. Also, everyone was so mean there. They even had a "siga sa calle". I could swear you wouldn't be able to tell the differnce between that place and Maynila. Hmm...Perhaps Oscar is pinoy. :) Think about it, he goes around collecting trash making "pulot", which I saw alot of people do in the PI, puloting bottles and stuff. He was always working. So what did he do when he wasn't working? Making "tambay" outside his home. Making "tsis-mis" when he wasn't being "suplado". Ever notice that half the time he wore the garbage lid as a hat? Was he trying to avoid becoming darker green from the sun? What about that car he had. It was always belching black smoke. What a true pinoy. Did you know that he also had a side-line job other than puloting junk? Yeah, he was a taxi driver! Ang sipag mo naman Oscar. You probably wouldn't believe me if I told you that Oscar's car is better than some hoopties I saw there in the PI. Guess what his favorite food was. Sardinas!!! Damn if this guy isn't pinoy then he should be made an honerary one. It all makes sense now, the reason why he was so different was because he was "presh" from Grouchland.
