The Fall and Rise of the House of Bahlmis is a new thread in the long-running Galactic Renaissance pbem.

On the planet Aquila, where technology is kept to a minimum, and life sometimes seems more like the life lived in Renaissance Italy or perhaps Regency London, five great Houses are in constant strife and intrigue in the quest for power. In all such struggles there are winners and losers - and the House of Bahlmis lost - sensationally.

The Head of the House and most of the young men who took part in a coup against the ruling Duke were executed, and the role of Head of House has descended, unexpectedly, to Rosalor Bahlmis, a rare female academic on Aquila.

Now she has summoned home the survivors of her family ... nephews brought up on a variety of galactic locations ... to try and restore the once great House of Bahlmis ...
