| One of the first things Derrick did upon arriving in the city was save the life of a dark haired mysterious girl , who turned out to be a Flaire Delainey. Drawn to Kat's a beat up tavern on the far side of town , Derrick walked in to be greated by quite a scene. The young lady was knocked out cold on the tavern floor with a threatening figure of a man going in for the kill. No one. Not even Flaire ( or so she claims ) knows how he managed to get rid of the attacker. But one minute She was on the fine line of death and the next she was in the arms of a good looking stranger. She has yet to complain. |
| To most , it looked like the two would be involved romantically But it has yet to turn out that way and its no secret Flaire was the only thing keeping Derrick in town for the first couple months prior to joining her fathers " household." and still could be the only thing. Its quite clear how Derrick feels about Flaire, but, obeying her wishes. They keep their relationship to close friendship. Thank-fully Derrick is able to fine happiness in another , meeting the spunky Raina and becomign involved with her . he's in love and finally loved back. |
| Derrick still constantly dreams of future happenings. More and more often it seems and hand in hand with the increase comes rare preminitons. He pays close attention to them now. he's seen what ignoring them can do, and who it can harm. |
