Jose De La Cruz
"I've seen him before, he's on my wall." Thousands of dancers have said this to themselves when they've seen Jose in person or pictures of him. From Dance Spirit Magazine, Dance Europe, Dance Magazine, etc. Jose De La Cruz has appeared in them all as the model for BLOCH. Fusing hiphop/jazz/funk and ballet dance with punk/rock/alterative music, Jose has created a style of dance all his own. Dancing/Skateboarding on the Family Value Tour, Jose De La Cruz became known as "Punkdancer." The Family Value Tour artists have included Korn, Prodigy, Linkin Park, Stone Temple Pilots, Limp Bizkit, etc. Darrin Henson, the choreographer/teacher for Britney Spears, NSYNC, JLO, Jordan Knight says of Jose "He's one of the hardest working dancers in the world." Jose De La Cruz has choreographed/taught in Asia, Europe, Mexico, Israel, and in France for Disney Animation. Corporations such as Razor, Fitness Quest, Bally's Fitness, Crunch Fitness, Chezzam Entertainment use Jose as their choreographer for all industrial events. Jose De La Cruz teaches at dance/fitness studios such as New York's Broadway Dance Center, Crunch Fitness, The Rock, LA's Edge, etc. Many of Jose's students can be seen in videos all over MTV, VH1, as well as on award shows such as MTV Video Music Awards, Grammys, American Music Awards, VHI Diva's Live, etc. Jose De La Cruz's style and energy of dance is now coming to a new level for the millennium.
