ISAIAH FORSEES COMING MESSIAH
OR
"THY KINGDOM COME"
Light and darkness signify the sharp contrast between good and evil, order, and chaos. There is to be complete change.
Matthew 4:16,17
- 4:16 The people that sat in darkness Saw a great light, And to them that sat in the region and shadow of death, To them did light spring up.
- 4:17 From that time began Jesus to preach, and to say, Repent ye; for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
(Bug run from light)
Note Isaiah 9:3
Thou hast multiplied the nation, thou hast increased their joy: they joy before thee according to the joy in harvest, as men rejoice when they divide the spoil.
- We have more turmoil, strife, hatred, bickering, and destruction in our land today than the world has ever known.
- Recently I saw a picture of a market stand on the street of Jerusalem selling pistels, hand gernades, and weapons of warfare, my blood ran cold.
Cause of my heart felt trouble was this
Isaiah 9:6
For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
We fail many times to allow the Kingdom to come by;
- Keeping Jesus in the manager at Christmas.
- We fail to magnify the power of God to relieve the suffering, heartache and sorrow in our own lives.
The scriptures are not teaching a geographical location.
- When Jesus Christ, be magnified, the kingdom age will come, then we will see as Paul say He would one day.
- The mystries of life will be cleared.
(In fact there will be no desire for explanation)
In the day that the Kingdom age be ushered in:
- Isaiah 2:3 And many peoples shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of Jehovah, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of Jehovah from Jerusalem.
What do you think?
- Can we see todays world recorder 900 years before Christ?
- Do you see in the future a better tomorrow?
- Are we willing to apply Psalm 1: as our motto to the goof life:
- Psa 1:1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the wicked, Nor standeth in the way of sinners, Nor sitteth in the seat of scoffers:
- Psa 1:2 But his delight is in the law of Jehovah; And on his law doth he meditate day and night.
- Psa 1:3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the streams of water, That bringeth forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also doth not wither; And whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
- Psa 1:4 The wicked are not so, But are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.
- Psa 1:5 Therefore the wicked shall not stand in the judgment, Nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
- Psa 1:6 For Jehovah knoweth the way of the righteous; But the way of the wicked shall perish.
- Would you expect this prophesy to come to pass, before the kingdom age?
- What do you think about war?
- What do you think about proverty?
- Do you feel that Christianity is on the way out?
- What do you think of the present campus movement?
