another entry from camp
just finished some tactics test. now in the examination hall of
the camp. finally got some time to scribble some stuff. right now my leg hurts
terribly just below the right knee; there’s a huge swelling. hope it’s just a
bad knock and not some hairline fracture – I wanna get my senior cadet status
one week from now. think I’ll have to go see the medical officer tomorrow to
check. funny thing is why it took so long to hurt. I fell into some knee-level
trench last week at night during a fire fight and knocked it, but didn’t feel anything
till yesterday. started hurting bad after the 3.5km seoc with full combat load.
ouch. anyway there isn’t much tonight after this test so hopefully can get some
rest. booking out on friday at 3pm, next friday at 12 noon so I’m really
looking forward to it man. just realized gotta study for another test tomorrow.
so can’t sleep early. well, guess this is the life of a cadet. five more weeks
to the middle of my course only. feels damn long man.
going to Taiwan about one month from now, for about 3 weeks. dear
friends reading this, want anything? tell me, and I’ll see what I can do about
it. meanwhile I’ll just hope to goodness this swelling isn’t a fracture or anything
that will put me out of course. hurts man.
