i touch the fire and it freezes me…
watched the widely-acclaimed musical episode of Buffy the vampire slayer and this line
stuck in my head, besides the amazing realization that the cast could actually
hold their tunes pretty well. james
marsters (spike) had a great voice. as did sarah michelle
gellar (buffy), even if it
was a tad high-pitched.
anyway, as musicals go, they depress. and set the viewers (ie me) into
the kind of poetic mood.
before I go on, here’s another line that stuck in my
head:
the hardest thing to do in this life is to live in it.
but we have to. even when things don’t
go well. even when things that we expect to burn us,
freeze us instead. a very powerful contrasting imagery
indeed.
heck. think some magical spell’s
taking effect on me. suffering from writer’s block
suddenly. got nothing else to say. instead
of rambling on into an inconsequential piece of rubbish, I might as well end
here.
this is the first time this happened in the middle of blogging. I’m still quite stunned. but
heh, I’ve got to get used to it the more I write. maybe it’s just fatigue. heh. ok. shall
end here.
but will write some other day.
after all, we have to live in this life.
