This picture of Grandpaw was taken at his service station in Estell, Mississippi in 1957.
Grand Paw Arza was born in Rapid City Michigan,. His family was from Illinois. I have not found out yet why they moved to Michigan for those few years. They moved back to Vermilion Co., IL and there he met my Great Grandmother Rossie May Engle. She was the daughter of John Hamilton Engle and Celia Jane Lytle. Celia is from the line of John and Bathsheba Babb Lytle from Penn.
Grandpaw and his family moved from Vermilion Co., Il in the early 1900's about 1907. The extended family consisted of his father James Warner along with their seven children. The came to Chatham, Miss. then on to Estill just a few miles away. This family has been farmers for as far back as I have been able to discover.
