| Drinks from the Tome of Libations | ||||||||||||||||||
| Dwarven Ale: 7 coppers per tankard. This thick dark brew is the staple of dwarven meals. Foamy and harsh this drink is heavy on other Peoples (humans, some elves, halflings) and tends to burn the throat. | ||||||||||||||||||
| Firebreather: 6 coppers per tumbler. A reddish whiskey made by the Dwarven people, thick and severely hot to the throat, even to the dwarves. Other species will experience intense intoxication and smoke from the mouth after imbibing. | ||||||||||||||||||
| Dragonliquer: 5 coppers per shot. Served in small shot glasses this brew from the fire of dragons...smokes and steams constantly and must be kept at all times in an insulated bottle. Its appearance is a murky grey and if left too long can eventually eat through the shot glass. The burning is intense and it hits you like a 1500 pound dragon on a rampage. | ||||||||||||||||||
| Orcish Whiskey: 1 silver per phial. This green glowing drink is kept in small phials, stoppered and watched carefully. If handled without care it has a tendency to explode! The taste of this drink can only be described as OMFG ITS NASTY!! to people other than orcs and goblins and possibly deamons. | ||||||||||||||||||
| Pele: 2 silvers per tumbler. This drink was gifted to Brimdin Aleriven by the fire elementals of the Volcano deep at the very bottom of Mordoran. A bright red liquid that constantly burns with a heatless fire that dances like the liquid inside. Very sweet to the taste this is the perfect drink for fine ladies of taste. | ||||||||||||||||||
| Fae Water: 1 silver 3 coppers a glass. This is a drink that could very well be dangerous! Each vintage is enchanted with a different spell, one never knows what it will do! One vintace causes the drinker to appear extremly beautiful to onlookers, another causes the drinker to have the great desire to dance for hours. Pink and shimery in its little glass and a great favorite of Fae Moots. | ||||||||||||||||||
| Fae Wine: 8 coppers a glass, 2 silvers a bottle. A great favotire of elves, this fine fruity wine constantly changes color with rainbow ripples. Enchantments of enjoyment and laughter are cast on each bottle by the Fae artisans that supply it. | ||||||||||||||||||
| Halfling Gin: 3 coppers a glass. Simple, easy, and iridescently clear. Its GIN!! | ||||||||||||||||||
| Goblin Mead: 1 copper per bottle. A Perfect drink for the intrepid Goblin or orc. Sold in small fat bottles with wax sealing the tops. When the seal is broken the drink tends to chuckle evily at the drinker and lets out a black smoke. To Quote Bardaa herself (after trying the drink): "AHHHH! Clanggedin! Gorsh tha's bad!!" | ||||||||||||||||||
| Spirit of Aerie: 1 gold per cube. Given to the Tome by the Angelic People of Aerie, this substance is perilous, driving the consumer absolutly MAD if they were not already drunk! Served in tiny cups, this libation assumes the form of small blue cubes that melt on the tongue and awakens the senses. | ||||||||||||||||||
| Ghost Mist: 2 gold per squirt. Kept in a sealed pressured bottle this strange wet mist is squirted into the mouths of those that imbibe. The effects of this stuff causes the consumer to assume shade form for one day. Not for the faint of heart. | ||||||||||||||||||
| Lichenbrau: an opague avacado green liquid, typically kept in stone jugs and served in crystal goblets. The flavor remiscent of walnuts and almonds and if served in metal containers, turns the flavor to a roasted nut taste. The warm glow gained from this highly alcoholic beverage is hightened by a tingling sensation in the extremities. If consumed too much will numb completly the hands and feet until one could not hold another glass, and finds it hard to walk. Highly favored by Dwarven Berzerkers for its numbing effects so they feel no pain...in more ways than one. | ||||||||||||||||||
