2002: A positive sentiment exists for all Military Members partaking in Operation Enduring Freedom. That is good and it is fair. They are risking life and limb to preserve our emotional and physical freedom from terrorists.
What about the other side of the coin? Those called to serve who are not in Afghanistan, but who were still called to preserve the American-Way? Those who are sacrificing but receiving no glory? Reservists activated to be kept locally or sent abroad, but who are not part of Enduring Freedom... those valiant personnel are part of Operation Noble Eagle. They are protecting us closer to home!
I had the wonderful opportunity to watch some of the training for Noble Eagle personnel - let me tell you, I have seen grown men cry. But none of the ones I witnessed gave up, they are an example of The American Spirit. I am Proud to be American, and Proud to have these people working to keep our way of life, our national and local security.
I am Proud of All Noble Eagle Personnel! God Bless Them All!!
