Chapter 58: Supper
�Well that was quite good,� Jr said after they got back to Mikey�s trailer. �Good idea Robby with the paper. That saved us from talking a lot.�
�Well yea,� Robby said. �Thanks Jr.�
�I guess next time we should remember to give more details on the reason because that is the only thing they asked about,� Steve suggested. �Hey guys if NASCAR did the wrong thing what could happen to Mike Helton beside Jeff and Jimmie getting to race or the police call being canceled?�
�I don�t think that NASCAR did the wrong thing,� Jr told Steve. �Jeff and Jimmie were hurting us and we didn�t do nothing to hurt them.�
�I agree with you Jr but I know what Steve is saying,� Kevin agreed with Jr. �What if they sat that Mike did the wrong thing? I mean its either they�ll get to race or the police call being canceled. What else could happen to Mike?�
�I think that Mike will get fired but I don�t see that happening,� Jr told Kevin.
�Me neither but gosh that would be pretty bad,� Kevin said. �So you mean that Rick Hendrick is taking the risk of getting Mike fired? Holy cow! That is crazy!�
�Yea I totally agree with you Kevin,� Jr agreed with Kevin.
�But guys when other people complain about stuff they are risking the same thing right?� Nicole double checked. �So I think there is a lot of people who have risked this before.�
�Ok,� Jr said.
�Good pt Nicole,� Kevin commented. �But some things people risk aren�t as serious as others and I think Jr.�s point is this is very serious and that is a possibility. But trust me this is classified as physical harassment. It will be the top of anything gone wrong in NASCAR I think.�
�Ok,� Nicole said.
�Anyways lets talk about something else,� Jr tried to change the topic.
�Ok,� Kevin said. �What?�
�Um good question,� Mikey said. �Any suggestions.
They were all thinking.
�What time is it?� Steve asked randomly. �I know its after 7 since practice ended at 6 and we haven�t had supper yet.�
�What about I order a couple of pizza from dominos?� Mikey suggested.
�Sponsor plug in,� Steve joked. �Good idea Mikey. If you want pizza put your hand up.� Everyone put their hand up. �Ok. We will have pizza.�
�What does everyone like on their pizza?� Ashley asked.
�Just cheese for me,� Amanda answered.
�Cheese sounds good but Hawaiian is good plus we are close to Hawaii,� Taylor said. �Ok maybe not.�
�Ok,� Ashley said jotting it down. �What pizza do you want Jr, Kevin, Steve, Robby, Mikey and Martin?�
�Hmmm�pepperoni,� Jr answered.
�I�ll have the same,� Kevin said. �Hey Ashley you forgot Nicole! And I know you forgot Dalandra and Teresa because I see them coming back and they went shopping. Hey no fair. They got to go shopping.�
�Ok,� Ashley said. �When they get back I will ask them.�
They then heard a knock from the outside.
�Guess their back,� Martin said.
�Ok,� Ashley said.
�Kevin are you going to beg them and cry like a little baby since I can tell your mad you didn�t get to go shopping?� Amanda teased.
�I am not going to beg or cry like a baby but I will ask them one question about it,� Kevin assured her.
�Alright,� Mikey said. �I�ll go open the door for the ladies or maybe we should keep them outside for not letting us go. Naw that wouldn�t be nice to do especially to my car owner.� Mikey went and opened the door.
�Thanks for letting us in Mikey,� Dalandra and Teresa thanked Mikey.
�Your welcome,� replied Mikey. �We were just talking about supper. Ashley�s taking orders on what we each want on are pizza.�
�Just cheese,� Teresa ordered.
�Ok,� Ashley said. �Here�s the order so far: Cheese for Amanda and Teresa, Pepperoni for Jr and Kevin and Hawaiian for Me and Taylor. Alright whoever is left please order.�
�Pepperoni for me,� Mikey requested.
�Another pepperoni at my end,� Robby added.
�Same as Robby,� Steve and Martin ordered.
�Ok 2 cheese, 6 pepperoni and 2 Hawaiian,� Ashley read over the list. �Dalandra and Nicole, what would you like?�
�Cheese please,� Nicole requested.
�May you get me a mushroom pizza please?� Nicole ordered.
�Ok Mikey here is the order: 3 cheese, 6 pepperoni, 2 Hawaiian and 1 mushroom,� Ashley told Mikey.
�Ok,� Mikey said. �Let me order it right now.� Mikey then called Dominos Pizza.
�Thanks for calling Dominos Pizza,� the person on the other said when they answered the phone. �Can I take your order?�
�Yes can I have one small pepperoni pizza, two pizza pies of Hawaiian, 1 pizza pie of mushroom and 3 pizza pies of cheese please?� Mikey requested. �I�d like it delivered to the Daytona Infield. I�ll meet the delivery guy where ever he wants to meet with me.�
�Ok can he meet you over at the entrance of Daytona?� the person asked.
�Sure,� Mikey accepted.
�Ok it will be $30.50,� the person told Mikey.
�Ok I�ll have the money there,� Mikey assured him.
�Ok thanks for calling,� the person thanked Mikey. �It will be about 30 minutes.�
�Your welcome,� Mikey said. �Bye.� Then Mikey hung up the phone and let the others know that the pizza would be there in about 30 minutes.
�Where we meeting the delivery guy?� Steve asked.
�We are going to meet him at the entrance,� Mikey answered.
�Ok,� Kevin said. �Half of us will go meet the delivery guy and half stay here. The half going to the delivery guy will take a walkie talkie system that is capable of working with the one here so if anything happens we can report.�
�Ok,� Mikey accepted Kevin�s plan.
�Alright how many people are here in total?� Steve asked. �Five plus two plus four equals eleven people. Mikey pick five to go with you.�
�Ok,� Mikey said. �I pick Amanda, Kevin, Jr, Ashley and Taylor.�
�Nice group,� Kevin complemented him. �There�s actually 12 people in total. Don�t forget quiet Robby. So its Steve, Martin, Nicole, Robby, Dalandra and Teresa here. What a interesting group. The 3 boys who are flirting with Nicole plus Dalandra and Teresa to keep them in line.�
�Right,� Mikey agreed with Kevin�s calculations.
�You do this on purpose Mikey?� Steve asked.
�No,� Mikey answered.
�I got a question,� Jr started. �Has anyone seen Kelley, Brianna or my mom lately.�
�No I haven�t,� Ashley told Jr.
�Uh oh,� Taylor said. �That�s trouble. Anyone have a way of contacting them?�
�I know Kelley�s phone number so I will try to call her,� Jr answered. Jr then dialed Kelley�s number.
�Hi,� Kelley answered the phone. �Who is this?�
�Its me Jr,� Jr told her. �Where are you?�
�Me, mom and Brianna just went back to you motor coach,� Kelley told him.
�Alright,� Jr said. �Well were at Mikey�s motor coach and we ordered pizza but as you can we didn�t get your order since you weren�t here.�
�Its ok,� Kelley assured him. �I just ordered some pizza for us.�
� Oh my gosh that�s weird,� Jr said. �Ok when are you meeting the delivery guy?�
�I am going to pick up our pizza,� Kelley told him. �We ordered from Pizza Hut.�
�Ok,� Jr said. �We ordered from Dominoes.�
�Ok,� Kelley said.
�Well here�s are plan,� Jr started. �Mikey is coming with me, Amanda, Ashley, Taylor and Kevin. So what we�ll do is we�ll all come get you. We then will pick up are pizza at the gate and the half the group will head back to Mikey�s motor coach and the other half will come with you ok?�
�That sounds ok Jr,� Kelley accepted.
�I�ll grab 2 walkie talkies and leave the one at Mikey�s motor coach,� Jr continued. �And then when we split again I�ll leave one with the other half and the half that is going with you gets the other. Just a safety issue.�
�Ok,� Kelley said.
�Meet you at my motor coach sis,� Jr said. �Bye!�
�Ok bye!� Kelley said.
Jr then hung up and told everyone what would happen and Mikey, Kevin, Amanda, Ashley, Jr and Taylor started to get ready to go get the pizza. Then they left the motor coach to get Kelley and then meet the pizza guy.�
�Thank you for ordering your pizza from Dominoes and here is the order you ordered,� the pizza guy said as he handed the pizzas to them.
�Thanks,� Mikey thanked him. �Here is the money.� He then handed the pizza guy the money.
�Your welcome,� replied the pizza guy. �Holy you Michael Waltrip?�
�Yes I am,� Mikey answered.
�Ok bye,� the pizza guy said kind of surprised and shy. Then the pizza guy left.
�Ok�Mikey and Taylor go with Kelley to get their pizza ok?� Jr directed.
�Wait�.me, Jr and Taylor come with Kelley,� Mikey corrected Jr. �Don�t take yourself out boy.�
�Ok let me go with Taylor and Ashley,� Jr changed it.
�Fine,� Mikey agreed. �Me, Kevin and Amanda will go back to my trailer. I�ll keep this one since you have yours. Alright see ya in awhile.�
�Ok bye Mikey,� Jr said.
Back at the trailer the boys were flirting with Nicole.
�Martin, Robby and Steve stop flirting with Nicole!� Teresa yelled at them.
�Or I will dump you all,� Nicole added.
�Ok we will not flirt with you anymore,� Martin, Steve and Robby said.
�Thank you boys,� Nicole thanked them.
�Your welcome Nicole,� replied the boys.
�I�m just gonna check on everybody and make sure were all good,� Teresa changed the subject. �Jr can you hear me?�
�I can hear you fine,� Jr answered.
�Everything ok?� Teresa questioned.
�Everything is ok,� Jr answered.
�Alright I will see you after,� Teresa told him.
�Ok,� Jr said. �Later.�
�Bye!� Teresa said. �Mikey can you hear me?�
�I can hear you Teresa,� Mikey assured her.
�Everything ok?� Teresa asked.
�Everything is ok here,� Mikey answered.
�Ok,� Mikey said.
Teresa then went back to doing what she was doing before. Mikey, Amanda and Kevin returned with the pizza.
�Dominoes pizza is here,� Mikey said as he entered the motor coach. �Jr, Ashley and Taylor went with Kelley to get her pizza.�
�Ok,� Teresa said.
�Hmm looks yummy Mikey,� Dalandra commented.
�Yes it does,� Mikey agreed. �Do you guys want to just keep the pizza warm and wait for them or start eating without them?�
�I think we should wait for them,� Amanda suggested.
�Ok,� Mikey agreed.
�These 3 boys were breaking the rules,� Teresa started. �So we stuck them in 3 different corners away from Nicole. I will tell Jr that they were breaking the rules and they may get in trouble.�
�Ok,� Mikey said. �But what rule are they breaking?�
�Rule #2 no flirting,� Teresa answered. �They were flirting with Nicole almost the whole time that you guys were gone.�
�Oh ok Teresa,� Mikey said.
�Very bad people,� Kevin commented shaking his head. �You boys know to behave.�
�I am sorry buddy but she is so cute,� Steve apologized.
�Same here,� Martin went with Steve. �I mean she is the prettiest girl I have ever seen Kev.�
�I am sorry Kev,� Robby apologized.
�What do we do with bad people?� Mikey asked sarcastically. �I say we tell Junebug since he said the rules clear and its not like you boys did it just once.�
�Umm�.,� Martin stuttered.
�Oh Martin come on and say it,� Steve begged. �You know that you have the perfect plan to get us out of trouble.�
�I do?� Martin questioned.
�So he planed it with you Steve?� Teresa asked. �Hmmm better tell Junebug that.�
�Ok,� Kevin said.
Then Jr, Ashley, Kelley and Taylor showed up with Brianna and Brenda.
�Hey guys,� Teresa greeted them as they came in the door. �Jr can I have a word with you for a sec?�
�Go Teresa!� Dalandra cheered.
�Sure Teresa,� Jr accepted.
�You guys go ahead and start to eat,� Teresa told them. �I will be right back with Jr.�
Jr and Teresa left the trailer to chat.
�So what was going on while I was gone?� Jr asked.
�3 boys broke rule #2,� Teresa answered.
�Oh,� Jr said surprised. �So they were flirting with Nicole.�
�Uh yes,� Teresa told her.
�Ok,� Jr said. �I will talk with them after we eat.�
�Alright,� Teresa said.
Then they went back inside; Teresa and Jr sat down and began to eat.
�What did Jr say?� Dalandra whispered to Teresa.
�Jr will be talking to the guys after we eat,� Teresa whispered back.
�So how was everything here well we were gone?� Taylor asked.
�It was ok I guess Taylor,� Teresa answered.
�It was ok?� Dalandra double checked with Teresa. �Oh my gosh! You aren�t even getting close to the real story.�
�Ok Dalandra,� Teresa said. �What about you tell Taylor?�
�Martin, Steve and Robby were flirting with Nicole almost the whole time you guys and gals were gone,� Dalandra told Taylor.
�Oh ok,� Taylor said.
�That�s breaking the rules,� Ashley stated.
�Yes,� Dalandra agreed.
�That mean were in trouble Jr?� Martin asked.
�Yes but I will talk with you guys after we eat,� Jr answered.
�Well I would like to hear the punessment too Jr,� Nicole told Jr.
�Ok Nicole,� Jr said.
�And there is more to the story,� Kevin interrupted. �When we heard the story when we got back there was hinting that the flirting was planned.�
�Oh ok,� Jr said.
�Um Kevin did we ask for you side?� Nicole asked Kevin. �No!�
�Sorry,� Kevin apologized.
�Wait Nicole,� Mikey stopped them all. �Maybe Jr wanted that side. Hah!�
�Ok,� Nicole said.
�Well lets ask Jr,� Martin said. �Jr did you want to hear that side from Kevin?�
�Yes,� Jr answered.
�Alright so I was wrong Mikey but that doesn�t mean that you have to get all pissed off at me,� Nicole yelled at Mikey.
�Ok calm down everyone,� Steve interrupted all the fighting. And everyone calmed down.
