Chapter 45: The Trip to the Infield Care Centre
The next morning at Jr.�s trailer, everybody was starting to get up.
�Good morning,� Jr says.
�Good morning Jr,� Ashley says. �Taylor, I suggest you wake up before your brother gets that bucket of ice water.�
Taylor opens her eyes and says, �Ok.�
�Now that�s is better,� Jr says. �I didn�t wanna freeze you first.�
�Ok Jr,� Taylor says.
�Oh yea, pick me first,� Ashley says.
�Ok,� Jr says.
�Oh my gosh!� Taylor screams. �You would pick the girl that you actually in love with first? Oh my gosh! I gotta tell Buffy, Dalandra and Amanda this.�
�You can tell them,� Jr tells her.
�Now, would they be up or can we take that bucket of water?� Taylor wonders.
�I think that they would be awake Taylor,� Jr answers.
�Well lets go get them since we got to go to the infield care centre for a little check deal plus Kelley and them are coming today,� Taylor declares. �And bring the bucket incase.�
�No!� Jr tells her.
Taylor rolls her eyes and says, �Ok. And remember Teresa said that Ash gets a piggy back ride.�
Jr gets Ashley and gives her a piggy back to the care centre and Taylor follows them.
�You two wait right here,� Jr directs. �I�m going to go get Mikey and Kevin.�
�Ok Jr,� Ashley and Taylor say. �We will wait for you here.�
Jr runs back to the motorcoach lot and to Mikey�s motorcoach. He runs inside. �Mikey! Get up! Remember morning duities!� he yells.
�Ok,� Mikey says. �I will get up Jr.�
�Ok,� Jr says. �Get ready well I go get Captain Harvick.�
�Ok,� Mikey says.
Jr runs over to Harvick�s motorcoach. �Good Morning Kevin. Its time to rise and shine.�
�Peek a boo!� Kevin surprises Jr. �I�m dressed. I was up a long time ago. I just wanted to trick ya.�
�Ok,� Jr says as he laughs. �Lets go then Kevin to the infield care centre.�
Jr and Kevin get Mikey and they all head to the infield care centre. When they get their, jr cell phone rang.
Jr picks it up and says, �Hello.�
�Hi Jr,� Kelley starts off. �Its just me Kelley. How are you guys doing?�
�Good,� Jr reports. �Just checking in at the infield care centre like we were told to. And you?�
�I am fine,� Kelley answers. �I went to see Jimmie and Jeff at the police station last night.�
�Ok,� Jr says. �Listen, we got to go so if you guys want you can hang around wherever you are or come to where the infield care centre is and I mean, you can tell me then ok?�
�Ok,� Kelley says. �Talk to you soon. Bye!�
�Bye!� Jr says. He then hangs up and tells everyone Kelley is on her way.
They then arrive at the care centre. They all go inside and the person at the desk says, �The doctor has already said he wants to see Jr first.�
�Ok,� Jr says.
Then Jr goes to the room and had a seat.
�Hello Jr,� the doctor greets him. �Now, lets get to the point. Does your back still hurt?�
�My back doesn�t hurt anymore doc,� Jr tells the doctor.
�Ok,� the doctor says. �Now I remember last time it went away and came back so if it does come back let me know.�
�Ok doc,� Jr says.
�Also, I�m still thinking about why it did but I really don�t want to go through all that but if something comes to mind, I�ll let you know,� the doctor adds. �Now, send in your sister.�
�Ok,� Jr says. �Thanks doc.� Jr then goes and tells Taylor its her turn. Taylor goes into the room.
�How are you feeling Taylor?� the doctor asks.
�Better,� Taylor reports.
�That is good to hear,� the doctor says. He then looks at her wrist. �I see that you are doing better so please would you send in Ashley.�
�Ok,� Taylor says. Taylor walks out of the room and goes over to Ashley and lets her know that the doctor wants to see her.
�Can I have a piggy back to the room?� Ashley asks Jr.
�Sure,� Jr answers. Jr then gives Ashley a piggy back to the room.
�Thanks for the piggy back,� Ashley thanks. �Can you stay with me?�
�Of course but I�ll stay out of the doctor�s way,� replies Jr.
�Ok,� Ashley says.
The doctor then comes back and says, �Hello Ashley. How is your ankle right now?�
�It still hurting,� Ashley reports.
�A lot?� the doctor questions.
�Yes,� Ashley answers.
�More then yesterday?� the doctor asks.
�No�.it about the same,� Ashley reports.
�Ok, I�m just thinking about that for a second,� the doctor says. He then thinks it over and says, �Now I think we might need to do a second x-ray just to see if it has got worse or better or what ok?�
�Ok doctor,� Ashley says.
�Do you want me to give her a piggy back down there?� Jr asks the doctor.
�Sure,� the doctor says.
Jr gets Ashley on his back and takes her down to the x-ray room. When they get there, he sits her down. �I will be waiting for you outside ok? But I will give you a piggy back down to the other room,� Jr tells her.
�Ok,� Ashley says.
Jr then leaves the room.
Back in the waiting room, Kevin and Mikey were talking about stuff.
�Why is Jr taking so long?� Kevin wonders.
�Who knows but he and Ashley are pretty close if you get my point,� Mikey answers. �I mean, they are too romantic. I think since they both are young like you and Dalandra.
�Yea,� Kevin agrees.
�Hey Kevin, what you say tonight we set them up for a little fun and then more if you get me L-O-L?� Mikey suggest.
�Sounds good to me,� Kevin accepts.
�Like a candlelight dinner,� Mikey adds. �I mean, we light some candles and they have a romantic dinner! And then they have some more fun and we clear the motorcoach out.�
�Ok,� Kevin says.
�Anything else that would make tonight so damn perfect?� Mikey wonders.
�Nope,� Kevin answers.
�Um, guard the trailer from captain Jimmie and captain Gordon?� Taylor reminds them.
�Good idea Taylor,� Mikey complements her.
�Who would be able to accomplish that?� Kevin asks.
�We can ask Robby to do that for us,� Mikey suggests.
�But that endangers his safety correct?� Kevin reminds them. �We need a guard but someone we can keep safe.�
�Ok�.any ideas?� Mikey asks.
�Talk to Mike Helton maybe?� Kevin suggests.
�Ok,� Mikey says.
Meanwhile back at the room where Jr and Ashley were, Jr gave Ashley a piggyback ride back to the room. and then the doctor brought in the x-rays and to tell them the results.
�Is it worse or better?� Ashley asks.
�Look like the same as yesterday,� the doctor reports. �You just take a easy today. It might hurt for a few days but if the pain gets any worse�come back ok?�
�Ok,� Ashley says.
They then leave the room.
Kevin winks at Mikey when Jr comes back and then says, �Well, how�s everything and I got to go in like 3 minutes to talk to Richard about something.�
�I am fine but Ashley need to take a easy on her ankle,� Jr reports.
�Yea,� Ashley adds. �So what does Richard want?�
�I don�t really know Ashley but I will find out,� Kevin answers. �I got to go. See you guys later.�
�Bye Kevin,� Ashley says.
Jr, Mikey and Amanda then say bye. Kevin then leaves.
�I was thinking of having a day of talking with you and Ashley and Taylor,� Mikey starts. �I know Amanda has something to do or am I wrong?�
�I don�t have nothing to do today Mikey,� Amanda tells him. �We can chat.�
�Ok Amanda,� Mikey says. �Amanda, can I tell you a secret?�
�Sure Mikey,� Amanda answers.
Mikey goes over to Amanda and says, �Kevin is talking to Mike about are night plan nad he�s getting Dalandra to get the motor coach set-up ok?�
�Ok,� Amanda says.
�So where does everybody want to sit and chat?� Mikey asks. �Maybe my motorcoach?�
�Ok,� Jr says.
Ashley goes on Jr.�s back and they head to Mikey�s motorcoach.
