Chapter 42: The Aftermath of the Dinner Attack

 �Welcome back,� Robby and Jr say.

�Thanks,� Teresa says. �How are you feeling and when are you going to call your mom?�

�I am ok,� Jr answers. �I will call her later.

�Well, we got a bunch of hurt people here,� Taylor changes the topic. �Me, Ashley and Mikey now.�

�Yep�.what happen to Mikey?�

�He was talking to Mike on the phone and Jeff grabbed him,� Jr explains. �When Mike asked us if we were ok, Mikey said he had a stomach ach so Mike told Kevin to take him to the infield care centre.�

�Ok,� Amada says.

�Anyways, I still can�t believe that,� Jr comments.

�Me either,� Amanda agrees.

�Man, I tell you,� Jr starts off. �Jimmie sqeezes hard.

�Oh,� Ashley says.

�Well, everyone remembers the first attack with Jimmie,� Jr starts off. �He hurt Kevin�s arm.�

�Right,� Ashley remembers.

�Well, did Jimmie hurt you at all when he sqeezed you and tell me the truth?� Teresa asks Jr.

�Yes,� Jr answers.

�What?� Teresa asks again.

�That Jimmie hurt us,� Jr answers again.

�Listen, you told me that he hurt you now tell me what?� Teresa explains her point. �And if you don�t, I don�t know what I�m gonna do.�

�Never mind,� Jr says.

Teresa just looks at him and Robby rolls his eyes. Then Kevin and Mikey return to Jr.�s motor coach.

�Hey,� Jr says as they walk in. �What�s the news from the doctor Mikey?�

�It just a stomach ache,� Mikey says. �The pain will be ending soon.�

�And he wants him to come back tomorrow just to make sure,� Kevin adds.

�Ok�I will let Mike know that,� Jr says.

�Ok,� Mikey says. �Teresa, what is bugging you?�

�Jr,� replies Teresa.

�What about Jr?� Mikey wonders.

�He told me that Jimmie hurt you all and this and that,� Teresa explains.

�Jr, we want to know the truth since the truth is the best,� Mikey starts. �Did Jimmie hurt you?�

�Yes he hurt me,� Jr answers.

�Where?� Mikey asks.

�Wait�I can�t remember anywhere,� Jr answers.

�Listen, if he hurt you, tell me right now or I�ll surprise you with something that wouldn�t be good,� Mikey says. �I�ll tell someone.�

�I am sorry but I just told you guys a lie,� Jr says. �I never got hurt from Jimmie.�

�Jr, can I talk to you alone outside the motor coach?� Mikey asks.

�Sure,� Jr says.

Jr and Mikey went outside the motor coach.

�What do you want to talk to me about?� Jr asks.

�What�s going on in there?� Mikey questions.

�I just was joking with Teresa,� Jr answers.

�Listen, I have a little advice for you,� Mikey starts. �With something this serious to her and to all of us, you don�t joke around about it. Now, is that a lie?�

�Yes�.and I am sorry,� Jr answers.

�Now, if you have any secret at all, tell me because I promise not to tell anyone at all,� Mikey starts off. �I swear.�

�No, I don�t have any secret at all,� Jr pleads.

�Ok because I am somebody you can trust just like a big brother,� Mikey says. �Alright, lets go back in.�

�Ok,� Jr says.

The two of them go back inside.

�Jr wants to say something to you all,� Mikey starts off.

�I was tricking you all and I�m sorry,� Jr says.

�Its ok,� everyone forgives Jr.

�Well, who wants to finish Mikey�s special?� Jr asks.

�Not me,� Robby answers.

�Listen, I have a idea,� Ashley starts. �Jr, when you call your mom later, tell her to tell Kelley and Brianna. Then we�ll get something going on are side.�

�Ok,� Jr says.

�I agree since Kelley and Brianna are tough with this shit,� Kevin agrees.

�Yes they are,� Jr agrees.

�Ash, your smart,� Kevin comments.

�Thanks Kevin,� Ashley thanks.

�Your welcome,� Kevin says.

�Do you guys want some dessert?� Mikey asks.

�Well, why not,� Ashley answers. �Are celebration of friendship is not complete without dessert.�

�Right,� Jr agrees.

�So what is your plan for dessert Mikey?� Kevin wonders.

�I think some ice cream sundaes,� Mikey answers.

�Now that is good,� Robby comments. �Now, can I get a A++ by helping you with the ice cream sundaes?�

�Sure,� Mikey answers.

�Ok,� Robby says. �I�ll get the ice cream out.�

�Ok...I�ll get the chocolate syrup and cherries out,� Mikey says.

�Hmmm�.cherry topped sundaes are good,� Robby comments.

�Yep�what about some whipped cream?� Jr asks.

�Now that is a goody,� Kevin comments. �I�ll get the whip.�

�Ok,� Mikey says.

�Mikey, are you gonna give the award tonight for best cook?� Robby asks.

�I don�t know yet Robby,� Mikey answers. �I am still thinking about that.�

�Here is the beautiful ice cream,� Robby says.

�What kind of ice cream do we have Robby,� Amanda asks as Teresa whispers something to Delandra.

�Its Vanilla Amanda,� Robby reports.

�Well, that�s fine with me Robby,� Ashley says as Delandra whispers something back to Teresa.

Meanwhile at the police station, Jeff and Jimmie wait for the policeman to come back with their news.

�I will get Jr someday,� Jimmie says.

�Ya,� Jeff says. �I will too. We kind of got them today but can�t I steal the food?�

�I know Jeff,� Jimmie answers.

�Now, I�m trying to think of a time that Jr is alone without the others,� Jeff says. �That would be the best time.�

�I think when they all go to bed,� Jimmie suggests.

�Ya but remember, Ashley and Taylor are sleeping on the couches in the motor coachs,� Jeff reminds Jimmie. �I mean, something during the day.�

�Oh ok,� Jimmie says. �I don�t what is a good time to get Jr back.�

�We are going to have to spy,� Jeff says. �Maybe talk to Chad and the boys of the team.�

�Ok,� Jimmie says.

�Well, I hope that we have are answer back because I�m fed up with sitting here doing nothing,�  Jeff says.

Then the officer came back with his partner.

�Ok, what is now going on with you guys and Kevin and jr?� the officer asks.

�Well, we had a disagreement with them at California and Daytona,� Jimmie starts. �We are now giving them payback.�

�Ok�.we already got it here,� the officer says. �What happen earlier?�

�We interrupted their dinner,� Jimmie says.

�Why did you intrupt their diner�to just to get back to Jr and/or Kevin or what?� the officer asks.

�To get back at Jr and his whole group of friends,� Jimmie answers. �The 4 are Jr, Kevin, Mikey and Robby.�

�Yep,� Jeff agrees.

�Now, my partner and I have looked at the whole case,� the officer starts off. �We think that this has gone way to far and we have also talked with Mike Helton.�

�Yea�what is going to happen to us?� Jeff asks.  

�We have a plan and it depends on Jr and his friends,� the officer answers. �Here are the 2 possibilies. First, if Jr agrees you go to court and we will place charges and some other punessments. If he says no, then we are stuck in the same moment as we are at this second.�

�Ok,� Jeff says.

�Now, right now you have a meeting with Mike Helton and a meeting with me and my partner for further questions later, understand?� the officer says.

�We understand,� Jeff and Jimmie say together.

�Then please follow me,� the officer says.

So Jimmie and Jeff follow the officer. The officer walks them to the room that Mike Helton is sitting in.

�Hello Jeff and Jimmie,� Mike says.

�Hi Mike,� Jimmie and Jeff greet Mike.

�Mike, I�ll leave these two in here with you, ok?� the officer asks.

�Thank you officer,� Mike answers as the officer leaves the room. �I�m very disappointed in you two boys but what else do I expect from two brats.�

�Yea,� Jimmie agrees. �What is going to happen to us now Mike?�

�We need to keep you guys here in the area for the police to investigate but I have to make sure you stay away from Jr and his friends,� Mike starts.

�Ok,� Jeff says.

�We won�t go near them if you let us go,� Jimmie tries to trick Mike.

�Let me think about it,� Mike declares.

�Ok,� Jeff says hoping Mike says yes.
