Chapter 37: Practice for the Gatorade Duels
When Jr and Teresa got to the garage, Tony Jr and Jr.�s crew were talking.
�Listen, I�m sure that�s the set-up that Jr wanted,� Tony Jr tells the crew.
�Ok,� Jr.�s crew says. They then look and see Teresa and Jr heading over.
�How�s my favourite cousin?� Tony Jr asks.
�I�m ok,� replies Jr. �I just went to the infield care centre since my side was still hurting and the doctor said that I can practice and then just relax for the rest of the day.
�That�s cool,� Tony Jr says. �Well, the car is all set if and when your all set, we can start practice.�
�Ok,� replies Jr. �Let me get my suit on. I will be right back.�
Tony says alright. So then Jr goes to his trailer and gets his suit on. He then comes back and gets into his car. When he got back, Mike Helton was waiting for him.
�Hi Jr,� Mike said. �What did the doctor say about your side?�
�He said I can practice and then just go relax,� Jr answers.
Mike says ok and then leaves. Jr gets into his car and went on track for practice. He finds Mikey out there on the track working with Kevin so they hook up and they practice their drafting together.
Jr calls to Tony Jr, �My car is ok but a little tight in the corners.�
�See�.I knew set-up 2 would be better,� Tony Eury says. �That is why you should listen to your dad.�
�I know�.Jr�come in and we can fix the problem,� Tony Jr says.
� Alright, and stop your arguing,� Jr responds
�Ok,� Tony Jr says.
Jr then brings the car in and the crew fixes it. Jr goes back on track and runs a few laps. He then calls to Tony Jr, �Hey Tony, where�s Mikey and Kevin at on this track? I can�t find them.�
�They are back in the garage,� replies Tony Jr.
�Ok,� Jr says. After a few more laps around the track, Jr brings the car to the garage.
�Alright, what�s up now Jr?� Tony Jr asks.
�Nothing,� replies Jr. �I really like the car.�
�Ok,� Tony Jr says. �So that means I owe my dad a buck. Oh well. Anyways, how are you feeling?�
�I am feeling a little bit better then before,� answers Jr.
�That�s cool!� Tony Jr says.
�Yep,� Jr says
Tony Eury comes in the garage and Tony Jr throws him a loonie.
�How is the car working Jr?� Tony Eury asks.
�Awesome!� Jr says.
�That is good to hear,� Tony Eury says. �What is your problem son?�
�I threw you the loonie I owed your because of are little bet on what set-up would work better,� Tony Jr explains.
�Ok,� Tony Eury says.
Mikey, Slugger, Gibson, Jeff Green, Gil Martin, Kevin Hamlin, Harvick and Robby come over together.
�Hi there!� Jr says.
�Hey Jr!� Mikey says. �What�s you with you and the car?�
�My car is awesome and I am feeling better then before,� replies Jr.
�So on the scale of 10, how are you now?� Mikey asks.
�A 9,� answers Jr.
�Awesome!� Mikey says.
�Yep,� Jr says.
�Well, my car is working great,� Mikey says. �Hey, anybody seen the ladies or are they having a little lady day?�
�I haven�t seen them,� replies Jr. �Did you see the girls earlier?�
�Damn�this is a mystery,� Tony Jr says.
�Did you see the girls earlier, Robby?� Jr asks again.
�N-O!� Robby screams.
�Ok,� Jr says. �I think they are having a girls day out.�
�But what if something happened to are ladies?� Mikey asks in concern.
�I don�t know�would you like me call Ashley on my cell?� Jr asks.
�Nice idea,� replies Mikey.
�Ok,� Jr says. Then he goes to his trailer and get his cell and calls Ashley.
Ashley answers and says, �Hello? Who is this and please not be no dumb and dumber?�
�Hey,� Jr says. �Its just me Jr.�
�Alright,� Ashley says. �I right now am about to find Mr. Dumb and Dumber after I get out of a stupid huge box.�
�Ok,� Jr says sounding kind of confused.
�Wanna hear my reason of why I wanna find them and also, why I�m in a huge box?� Ashley asks Jr.
�Sure,� Jr says.
�Me, Delandra and your little angel Taylor were just going or a lady�s day out,� Ashley starts. �Now, Mr. Dumb and Dumber captured us and locked us in this huge box.�
�Ok,� Jr says. �Where are you located?�
�Near the mall which is a few miles from the track,� Ashley reports.
�Ok�I will be there shortly with Mikey, Kevin and Robby,� Jr says.
�Alright,� replies Ashley. �Thanks.�
Jr goes back to the garage and lets Mikey, Kevin and Robby know what has happened with the girls.
�Let�s go right now and this is getting really personal,� Mikey says. �First Kevin, then you, and now the girls? I�m about to really get my paws on Mr. Dumb and Dumber.�
�I totally agree with you Mikey,� Jr agrees.
�If they are in the site when I get there, I�ll so get my paws on him well I�m mad,� Mikey adds.
�I totally agree,� Robby agrees.
�You guys be careful and if you need back-up, call me dad�s cell, ok Jr?� Tony Jr says before they leave.
�Ok,� Jr says. �Thanks.�
�Now, what is the quickest way to get there?� Mikey asks.
�Where are they at Jr?� Robby asks.
�A few miles down the street by the mall,� answers Jr. �If we had a car, we�d get there fast. The only thing we have is are golf carts. Kevin and me will go grab them, you two start walking down the street in the north direction.�
�Ok,� Robby says.
Kevin and Jr go running to get their golf carts well Mikey and Robby start walking. Mikey and Robby are walking to their mall and see Jeff and Jimmie walking back to the track.�
