Chapter 33: The next morning
The next morning, Jr, Mikey, Kevin and Robby start to head over to the police station. When they get to the police station�Jimmie and Jeff were already there.
�Can I please see Jeff and Jimmie first?� the officer asks.
Then Jeff and Jimmie go and follow the officer to the other room.
�Alright, morning,� the officer starts. �I�d like to continue are little talk bout why you are bothering Dale Jr & his buddies then say some other stuff, ok?� They both say ok and then the officer says, �Now, you guys said you started because of something that happened at California. What is the big thing from California?�
�Ok,� Jimmie says. Jimmie pauses and then continues, �Kevin and Jr wrecked together big at California. Jr bruised his ankle and also suffered a concussion. Now, Jr forgives Kevin and we think that is wrong to do. Now, we tried to spread a pt but they wouldn�t listen and then the whole thing started.�
�Ok,� the officer says. �And what happened next?�
�Well, we grabbed them and did a little thread to Jr that if he didn�t break up with Kevin, we�d never be nice to them again and they didn�t break up,� Jimmie explains.
�Ok,� the officer says. �But why did you guys follow them around?�
�Part of are plan to break them up are selves,� Jimmie explains.
�Ok,� the officer says. �That was all the questions that I had for you. I will write this in the report and I will back with you guys.�
�Fine with me,� Jimmie says.
�Ok,� Jeff adds. �Thanks officer.� They then leave the room.
�May I please have Dale Jr, Kevin, Mikey and Robby in here please?� the officer asks.
Then Mikey, Jr, Kevin, and Robby go to the room.
�Now, I have had a talk with those two and I don�t think I�ve got my point across but I have some questions for you and some comments,� the officer starts. �Now, shall we get started?�
�Ok,� Jr replies.
�First thing, Jimmie said that he started this because Jr did forgive Kevin after California,� the officer starts off. �Now, do you two have a reason for forgiving each other that would prove a pt to Jimmie and Gordon?�
�I just forgive what happen to Kevin,� Jr replies.
�Well, you did forgive me since we were and still are big buddies,� Kevin adds. �The point is that we did forgive each other because we had gone through a lot. Like, dealing with the pressures after Dale Earnhardt died and also, relating to each other since we are about the same age.�
�That is right Kevin,� Jr agrees.
�Well, we gotta include Mikey,� Kevin adds. �Me, Mikey and you, Jr, stuck together through the hard times after Earnhardt died and I think that helped us out in the long run since it made us all stronger.�
�Ok,� the officer says. The officer writes it down and says, �That is a long but truthful reason. Now, Mike Helton told me that something up in Daytona might have to deal with this. Is that true?�
�Yea,� Kevin replies.
�The thing they are so angry about is that we are dominating restrictor plates and they think NASCAR is letting us cheat with this which is so damn wrong,� Mikey adds.
�Ok,� the officer says. The officer writes that down and then says, �Next topic since I think we covered this one big time. Jr, Jeff said that he didn�t hurt your side and he added you probally hurt it well plauing around with Kevin. Now, do you and Kevin play around at all?�
�No,� Jr answers.
�Is that true Kevin?� the officer turns to Kevin.
�That is right, officer,� Kevin replies.
�Well, we may play games like tag but we don�t hit each other hard,� Robby interferes. �We just tap each other lightly of course.�
�Ok,� the officer says.
�Anything else?� Jr asks.
�Nope,� the officer answers. �You guys can go.�
They left the room and started to head back to the track.
Jr then says, �Kevin, your arm still hurt?�
�Just a little,� replies Kevin.
�That�s good.� Mikey comments, �Hey Kevin, that was a awesome thing you said about us sticking together through the tough times.�
�Thanks,� Kevin replies.
