Chapter 2: Lunch at McDonalds
That night at home, Ashley got a e-mail from nascar.com that said
You won and going to attend the Daytona 500 with a friend.
Ashley went on to msn and contacted Amanda and told her the news. She also added that she gets to come with her.
Back in DEI, Amanda waited and no one showed up so she decided to go home. When Amanda got home, she went on the internet and saw that she got a e-mail from Ashley letting Amanda know about the news. Then Amanda reply back to her
Dear Ashley,
That's great u won and also picked me. thanks so much. did u get that job u applied for?
Thanks, Amanda.
Then Ashley checked her e-mail again and she got a e-mail back from Amanda. Ashley reply back to Amanda and said
Dear Amanda,
They said I have to do a column on paper bout Daytona testing and if that gets a approval from Chris Myers and the fox sports crew, I get to go to the track and do a special interview with a driver (hopefully dale jr) and the best out of the peps there, gets to be the new fox sports NASCAR crew member

Ashley then decided to go out and buy herself a new jacket. Ashley went to a NASCAR store where all the items are NASCAR stuff. When Ashley got to the store, she decided to buy herself the jr one since she liked how it looked. Then she looks at the other jackets there and she finds on of Mikey and she had enough money for both jackets so she got the Mikey jacket for Amanda. She then paid for the jackets and went over to Amanda's house
When she got over to Amanda's house. She rang the doorbell and Amanda answers the door.
�Can I come in and give u something?� Ashley asked her hoping she�d say yes
�Sure, you can come in.� Amanda replied.
Ashley sat on the coach and gave Amanda the jacket. Amanda was happy to get the jacket from Ashley.
�Thank you Ashley.� Amanda says.
�Your welcome. I knew u would love it.� Ashley said as she was happy for Amanda. �Now, how did ur morning go?�
�It was ok. I check my e-mail and I sent a e-mail to you and that was mainly it. What about you, Ashley?� Amanda said.
�I was talking with JR again but this time in his office. We talked bout the thing I wrote and he said he loved. He also accepted to the interview thing if I got past this part. He gave me his # and said to call when I find out.� Ashley said.
"That is cool. But I just wish that I can meet Mikey one day" Amanda said as she dreamed.
�I�ll talk to jr bout that if ya want� Ashley said.
�Ok!� Amanda said. �Thanks. I am about to go out to have something to eat at McDonalds. Do you want to come Ashley?� Ashley shakes her head yes.
Ashley then started getting her shoes on and said �Do u wanna drive my new car?� Amanda shakes her head yes so Ashley threw Amanda the keys and then opened the passenger door. Amanda and Ashley got into the car after the car door was unlock. Then Amanda drove Ashley to McDonald They both got out and locked the car door and went inside
�What would you want? I would pay for lunch!� Amanda said as they waited in line.
�A big Mac cheese burger, fries and a Pepsi.� Ashley said. Amanda ordered our lunch and then we went and sat at a table. When the cashier called their number to pick up their lunch, Amanda went and gets our lunch. Ashley sat and there and was just looking around when she saw the guy that was at DEI. Amanda also remembers the weird guy from DEI. The guy comes in and sits at a table close to them. The girls decided to leave Amanda and Ashley unlocks the car doors and got inside and went back to Amanda�s house
�Do u thinks I should call jr and let him know?� Ashley asked. Amanda shakes her head yes. Ashley then asked Amanda if she could use her phone.
�Sure, you can use my phone.� Amanda replied.
�Thanks Amanda.� Ashley said. She then went ahead and called jr and told him. Jr was surprise what Ashley saw over at McDonalds.
�I think this guy is following you girls around.� Jr said. �Come over, I have a idea to catch this bastard�
