(In scene 8 it said to prepare the first corner of the stage for scene 9. Well that is the corner that will be used for this scene)
Voice
Michael went into the chase with high hopes of the title. If he won it, itd be above everyones expectations. He had no failures throughout the chase and when it came down to the last race, he had a shot. He went out and finished 2nd in the race! First was someone else who wasnt in the chase and since the others didnt do well, Michael became your champion. To the press conference after the race.
Brian comes on stage and stands in front of the table. The 3 reporters and some random people come on and sit on the floor a bit away from the table with notepads in hand.
Brian
Introducing Busch series championship owner Dale, your cup champion Michael, your Busch champ Mark and your cup series championship owner Tina.
Dale, Tina, Michael and Mark come on and sit in the 4 chairs as Brian moves till he is standing beside the table.
Brian
Well now start questions. Yet not too long because they need to go.
Tina
Waitwe have an announcement. I am making a huge chance in the management squad. Dale will be taking over as president as Im just going to sit back and watch it all go down. Thats all. Now well take questions.
Reporter 1
Why are you making the chance Tina?
Tina
I did the change because I felt it was my time to back down.
Reporter 1
Can I ask why?
Tina
My reason is it was getting quite stressful and I wanted to let Dale take over now also so Id be able to watch over him.
Reporter 2
Whats your opinion on the change Dale?
Dale
I knew it was coming so Im ready for it. Now, lets talk about the championship.
Reporter 3
Michael, how does it feel to succeed at your dream?
Michael
It feels great especially since I had to make the chase to stay with this team.
Reporter 3
Can you expand?
Michael
Lets just say Dale started to take charge and was looking out for the business.
(Looks at Dale and winks)
Dale
(Smiles)
And I shouldnt have taken it that tough. Next question please.
(Improv some questions and answers as the curtains close. When they are closed, the play is over.
