Kevin and Dalandra�s house; living room. There is a phone there.
KEVIN
I�m going to kill her Dalandra. I don�t care.
DALANDRA
Kevin don�t you dare! If you take one step near her sorry ass I will stop you myself.
KEVIN
Try to and why are you defending her?
Kevin starts to get his shoes on
DALANDRA
Kevin I know its wrong to defend her yet I don�t want you getting in shit/
KEVIN
Whatever. Bye!
Kevin runs out the door with keys in hand
DALANDRA
Shit!
Dalandra then grabs the phone and dials Jr.�s number
JR show in half screen answering the phone
Hello?
DALANDRA
Jr its me De. Listen I need your help ASAP
JR
What�s wrong?
DALANDRA
Kevin has gone to kill her.
JR
Shit! Ok what�s her address?
DALANDRA
23 Bonefield Drive. Not far from where Matt use to live.
JR
I know where. Ok I�ll see if I can stop him
DALANDRA
Ok. Jr�.don�t get hurt ok?
JR
Ok De. Bye!
DALANDRA

She hangs up the phone and wonders what she should do. She then decides to sit there and wait.
SCENE 2
Kevin shows up in Kate� s driveway and Jr pulled up right behind him. Kevin gets out and starts to head up when Jr runs up behind Kevin.
JR
Kevin! Stop now!
Kevin spins around
KEVIN
Go away Jr. Its time I settle this.
He then turns and keeps heading to her house
JR
And get yourself in shit or hurt? No! Kev I am not letting you waste your future over this. De called and told me to come stop you. I will not leave till you agree to come with me away from here. And I am not just doing this for her. I�m doing this because I care about you Kev.
KEVIN
Jr I really don�t need your help. I know what I�m doing.
Kevin rings the doorbell
JR
Kevin please. Your making the wrong choice through anger. Just back away and go home.
KEVIN
No!
Kate answers the door
KATE
Hey Kevin and Jr! Kevin what do you want?
JR
Kevin don�t!
KATE
Don�t what Jr?
JR
Kevin wants to�.
KEVIN
Jr out of my business. We need to talk.
KATE
What�s there to talk about?
KEVIN
You should have been charged with murder, sexual assult, assult, physical harassment and rape for what you did to Matt.
KATE
So why did you have to come express that to me?
KEVIN
I came here because of that murder Kate. Its time you pay for what you did.
Kevin slaps her. Jr then grabs Kevin and pulls him away.
JR
Kevin! Lets go!
KATE
You bitch. Why did you slap me?
KEVIN
Its what you deserve plus more. Jr let go of me!
JR
No! She may be a bitch but this is not the way to deal with her.
KEVIN
I don�t fucking care if its right. Now let go of me!
JR
No!
Kevin then slaps Jr on the arm between the wrist and the elbow. Jr lets go of him and Kevin then runs after Kate who ran into the house to call the police.
JR
Kate look out!
Jr then runs after Kevin. They chase each other all around the house till the police show up. They run in and one of them grabs Kate while the other one grabs Kevin.
ONE OF THE POLICEMEN
Kate Crafton your under arrest for the murder of Matt Crafton, sexual assult, assult, physical harassment and rape. While Kevin Harvick is arrested for attempted murder to Kate Crafton. You both have the right to remain silent. Anything you say or do can be used against in the court of law.
They take them to the car and put them in the car. One of them goes back in to see Jr.
ONE OF THE POLICEMEN
Kate reported that Kevin hit you. Are you ok?
JR
Yeah I�ll be fine.
THE POLICEMEN
Are you fine to drive home?
JR
Yeah. Actually I�m going to go to Kev�s house
THE POLICEMEN
Ok
The policemen goes back out to his police car and heads off with his partner. Jr heads out and gets in his car and heads off to Kev�s house. Show a couple minutes of Jr driving and end of with a turn.
Scene 3
Jr shows up on Kev�s street and then goes and pulls into his driveway. He gets out and goes up to the door. He then knocks. Dalandra opens the door
DALANDRA
Where�s Kevin?
JR
Can I come in then I�ll tell you?
DALANDRA
Yeah sure.
Dalandra and Jr go to the living room and sit on the couch
DALANDRA
So where�s Kevin?
JR
He was arrested for attempted murder. I�m sorry De. I tried to stop him yet he was too much to handle. I got there the same time he did. I tried to convince him yet he didn�t listen and rang the doorbell. They got into a argument and he slapped her. I then grabbed him yet he slapped me and went after her. Then the cops showed up after and arrested them both.
DALANDRA
Where did he hit you Jr?
JR
My arm.
DE
You ok?
JR
I�ll be fine. I�m just sore.
DE
You sure?
JR
Yeah.
DE
Ok. Hold on I need to go call Richard.
JR
Go. I�ll wait here for yeah.
Dalandra goes to the kitchen and dials Kelley�s number. Show Kelley in the half screen answering the phone.
KELLEY
Hello?
DALANDRA
Hey Kel! Its me De.
KELLEY
Oh hey De. What�s up?
DALANDRA
Can you come over please?
KELLEY
Why?
DALANDRA
I�ll tell you when you get here.
KELLEY
Ok. Bye De. See ya in 20 minutes.
DALANDRA
Bye Kel.
Dalandra hits the hang up button and dials Richard�s number.

��Hey RC its me De. Listen i got news to spread. Kevin was arrested for attempted murder��.to Kate��Matt�s wife��no shit. I tried to get Jr to yet he slapped Jr��I dunno. See Jr says he�s cool yet I think otherwise. I called Kel and she�s coming over�.no I�ve yet to go over. I am after I deal with Jr�..oh I will. Bye RC��
Dalandra hangs up the phone and gets a bag of ice out of the freezer. Then goes back to the living room.
DALANDRA
Where does it hurt exactly?
JR
Right here. Points to the spot where Kevin hit him.
Dalandra holds the ice on the spot.
JR
You should go see Kev.
DALANDRA
I will. RC said he�s going to meet me here so I�m waiting for him.
JR
Ok De. You worried at all?
DALANDRA
Yeah a little. You?
JR
Yeah I just hope he doesn�t get in too much shit cuz he�ll miss the new season.
DALANDRA
Yeah. You ready for it?
JR
Yeah. This is one off-season I want to get rid of now.
DALANDRA
Want to tell me more?
JR
Naw. Its just some shit at home.
DALANDRA
I think we�ve all had that.
JR
Yeah. I think were all ready for the new year of racing.
DALANDRA

Scene 4
At the police station with the jail cells. Kevin and Kate were in cells across from one another. A security guard is standing at the end of the row of cells.
KEVIN
Kate shut up!
KATE
Why?
KEVIN
Because I said so. Listen I really don�t want to talk to you.
KATE
Why? You did at my house.
KEVIN
Yeah well I don�t want to talk espically now I�m in shit so close to the new season.
KATE
Well you shouldn�t have tried to kill me Kevin.
KEVIN looks at the guard
Excuse me can I ask you something.
Guard walks up to Kevin�s cell.
GUARD
What would you like Kevin?
KEVIN
Can I move down please?
GUARD
Why?
KEVIN
Cuz this is the girl I attempted to kill and we hate each other.
GUARD
I�ll have to speak to the head policemen.
Guard leaves the cell area
Scene 5
Outside Kevin�s house Kelley had shown up and was on the front porch. She knocked on the door. Dalandra answered the door.
DALANDRA quietly
Hey Kel. Listen you got to be quiet about you being here because nobody except I know.
Dalandra closes the door
KELLEY
Well one other person knows.
DALANDRA
Who?
KELLEY
Teresa. I was at DEI when you called. Actually I got Shannon to give me a ride over so actually two people know.
DALANDRA
Ok. Well Teresa may find out. Alright here�s the story. Kate killed Matt so Kev wanted to kill Kate. He got away from me so I called Jr to help me out.
KELLEY
What happened to my little brother?
DALANDRA
Kevin slapped Kate at Kate�s house and Jr grabbed him. Kevin then slapped Jr and got away and chased after Kate but right now that doesn�t matter. I don�t know how bad Kev hurt Jr.�s arm cuz Jr won�t tell me how much so I called you.
KELLEY
Your lucky Kevin�s not here De. Does he know I�m here?
DALANDRA
No.
KELLEY
Alright well your telling him why.
They then go inside to the living room.
DALANDRA
Jr I lied to you. I called Kel. I was worried. I didn�t know what to do.
KELLEY
Jr how bad does your arm hurt?
JR
It hurts a lot right where he hit me.
KELLEY
Ok. Do you want to go get it looked at?
JR
Yeah since it shouldn�t hurt this bad still.
KELLEY
Ok. Come on lets go.
JR
Ok.
KELLEY
Where�s Kevin?
DALANDRA
He was arrested for attempted murder.
KELLEY
Well you better go see him then.
Kelley & Jr then leave. Dalandra then gets ready to go and then leaves.
Scene 6
At the police station the guard comes back and goes to Kevin�s cell.
GUARD
Request denied!
Guard then goes back to his spot.
KEVIN
But�
KATE
Guess were staying together.
KEVIN
Oh shut up Kate.
KATE
Bring it on baby.
KEVIN
No way! You don�t deserve me.
KATE
Puhlease Kevin. I know you love me.
KEVIN
Why would I try to kill you then?
KATE
Cuz of Matt.
KEVIN
Oh leave him out of this.
KATE
Why? Isn�t he the reason why you wanted to kill me?
KEVIN
Yeah but I�d rather not think about him right now.
KATE
Why?
KEVIN
Cuz I miss him ok? Fuck!
KATE
What kind of good shit has he done for you?
KEVIN
Lots. Now can we leave this alone?
KATE
Oh come on Kevin.
KEVIN
Guard can you tell her to shut up?
GUARD
Kate leave Kevin alone!
Then Dalandra enters the row of cells and goes to where Kevin�s cell is.
DALANDRA
Hey baby!
KEVIN
Hey princess!
DALANDRA
Kev where do I being with you baby? I mean that�s was completely ridiculous of you to try to kill someone. Plus now your arrested and may even miss Speedweeks.
KEVIN
I know I know.
DALANDRA
Plus I am so surprised that you hit Jr. Kev what has gotten into you?
KEVIN
I�m sorry. I made the wrong decision through my anger. How�s Jr?
DALANDRA
His arm hurts a lot so Kel�s taking him to the hospital. She�s not happy with you at all. I ended up telling her.
KEVIN
She deserved to know. Let me know about Jr as soon as you hear something ok?
DALANDRA
Ok.
KEVIN
I love you princess.
DALANDRA
I love you too Happy.
A tear rolls down Dalandra�s face. Kevin takes her hands.
KEVIN
Listen I�ll get out before you know it ok?
DALANDRA
Ok.
KEVIN
Don�t worry. Just take care of yourself.
GUARD
Time�s up. Time to leave Dalandra.
DALANDRA
Ok. Bye Kevin!
KEVIN
Bye De.
Kevin lets go out of hands and Dalandra then leaves and heads out the police station.
Scene 7
At the hospital the doctor had just came in the room. Jr was sitting on the bed and Kelley was standing beside the bed.
DOCTOR
I have the results for you. The hit that Jr received has caused a serious brush on the bone that will take awhile to heal.
JR
Is there anything I can do for the pain?
DOCTOR
Just try not to move your arm a lot and always try to make sure to keep ice on it. Other than that there�s nothing you can do! So you can go whenever your ready.
JR
Ok.
Jr got ready and then he left with Kelley. When they got outside the hospital�.
KELLEY
I�m driving ok?
JR
Fine. You win.
Jr threw Kelley the keys. They got to the car and got in. Show them leaving the hospital and going down a couple streets.
Scene 8
Show them pulling on to the street the police station is on. Then they pull into the police station.
JR
Why are you coming here?
KELLEY
Need to talk to someone.
Kelley then parked the car
KELLEY
You wait here for me ok?
JR
Ok.
Kelley then gets out of the car and heads inside the police station. She went to the head policemen�s desk.
KELLEY
I would like to speak to Kevin Harvick in a room with just us two please.
HEAD POLICEMAN
Why?
KELLEY
It is regarding the injuries he caused to Dale Jr.
HEAD POLICEMAN
Alright yet when I say that�s it your done ok?
KELLEY
Deal!
The head policeman got Kevin and took him to the room where Kel was waiting for him. Kev went in the room and the head policeman shut the door
KEVIN
Hey Kel!
KELLEY
Hey Kev. Listen we need to talk.
KEVIN
I know. De told me. How is Jr?
KELLEY
Why should I tell you? You�re the one that caused it.
KEVIN
Kel I�m sorry I hit Jr like I did. Its just I was determined to kill Kate. I care about Jr and would never want this to happen.
KELLEY
Ok well you�ve got to learn to harness that anger when you get it Kev.
KEVIN
I know. That�s my goal. How is he?
KELLEY
He has a serious bruise on the bone that�s going to take awhile to heal.
KEVIN
Tell him I�m sorry and I hope he�s at least a bit better for the Shootout.
KELLEY
Yeah hopefully. Any word if you�ll get to do Speedweeks?
KEVIN
No word. And I gotta leave tomorrow to be there in time. I�m hoping I get a go ahead on going.
KELLEY
Well good luck. I gotta go. Jr is waiting for me.
KEVIN
Ok. Well have fun. Bye Kel!
KELLEY
Bye Kev.
Kelley leaves the room and then goes over to the head policeman�s desk.
KELLEY
Hey! I�m done.
HEAD POLICEMAN
Ok.
Kelley leaves as the police station as the head policeman heads to the room. He goes into the room and shuts the door close.
HEAD POLICEMAN
Hello Kevin. Now I talked with some other people and we�ve made a deal. You can do the races yet you are to stay at the track all week and report to Mike Helton each day understand?
KEVIN
Yep!
HEAD POLICEMAN
Ok I�ll escort you back to your cell since Richard is picking you up in the morning. Waiting there is your supper.
KEVIN
Ok.
The head policeman took Kevin to his cell and Kev starts to eat his supper. The head policeman leaves.
GUARD
I�ll be back in a minute. Don�t start any trouble.
The guard then leaves. Show Kate escaping from her cell and getting into Kevin�s
KATE
Where should I begin with you?
KEVIN
Go away from me!
KATE
Its going to take more than that.
She pins Kevin into a corner. Kevin pushes her away. Kate pushes Kevin into the corner. She goes over and starts taking his clothes off. Kevin tries to get away yet can�t.
KEVIN
Is this what you did to Matt?
KATE
Why yes it is.
She now has Kevin undressed. She then gets herself undressed. After she is done getting undressed she pushed Kevin onto the floor.
KEVIN
Do you do this to every boy you see?
KATE
Oh baby yes.
She climbs on top of him and starts to rape him. Kevin tries to push her away yet doesn�t succeed. The guard comes back and sees what Kate is doing. He runs over and pulls Kate off of Kevin and sticks her back in her cell. Then locks it. He then goes to where Kevin is. Kevin has started to get his clothes on.
GUARD
Are you ok?
KEVIN
Yeah I�ll be fine.
GUARD
Are you positive?
KEVIN
Well I wouldn�t mind some ice for my shoulder.
GUARD
I�ll go get some.
The guard goes and gets some ice and then comes back. He goes over to where Kevin is and hands it to him.
KEVIN
Thank you.
The guard goes back to where he usually stands. Kevin then puts the ice on his shoulder and lays down on the little bed there. He then goes to sleep.
Scene 9
That morning Kevin wakes up and Richard is waiting for him.
RICHARD
Good morning Kevin.
Kevin sits up and looks at Richard
KEVIN
Hey RC.
RICHARD
Ready?
KEVIN
Yeah.
They leave the police station and get into RC�s car. They then head off to the airport.
RICHARD
Dalandra packed your bags with what you need for Speedweeks. She�s meeting us at the airport.
KEVIN
Ok.
RICHARD
So tell me�.what happened Kev?
KEVIN
I went over to her house and rung the doorbell. Jr tried to convince me to end my plan yet I didn�t listen. Then she answered the door. We got into a argument and I hit her. Then Jr grabbed me and I slapped him so he let go of me. I then ran after her. She ended up calling the cops and when they came they arrested me for attempted murder.
RICHARD
Did they arrest Kate?
KEVIN
Yeah. Didn�t you see her ass there?
RICHARD
Must�ve missed her. So what happened last night since I heard something did?
KEVIN
The guard left for a moment. She then got out of her cell, came into mine and rapped me.
RICHARD
How�d you hurt your shoulder Kevin?
KEVIN
When she pushed me on to the ground.
RICHARD
Does it still hurt?
KEVIN
Not as much.
RICHARD
Ok. Kev why did you try to kill her?
KEVIN
I wanted to kill her through my anger of what she did to Matt! I went and tried when I should�ve quit.
RICHARD
Ok. How long had she been hurting Matt?
KEVIN
Too long.
RICHARD
Did you know about it?
KEVIN
Yes.
RICHARD
Why didn�t you go to report it sooner?
KEVIN
I didn�t think of that.
They then showed up at the airport. They get on to the plane and the plane heads off.
Scene 10
At the Daytona, FL airport. Kevin, Dalandra and Richard had just got off the plane. They were now inside the airport.
KEVIN
I�m going to wait for Jr ok?
RICHARD
Ok Kev. De can you stay with him?
DALANDRA
Uh huh.
Richard then walks away. Soon after Jr shows up.
KEVIN
Jr! can we talk please?
JR
Sure.
Jr goes to where Kevin is
KEVIN
I�m sorry I slapped you. I was in the wrong.
JR
Your forgiven Kev.
KEVIN
How�s your arm right now?
JR
Still sore as it was before.
KEVIN
That sucks.
JR
How are you dealing with all this?
KEVIN
Meh ok I guess. Its tough.
Mike then comes over to where they are.
MIKE
Hi Kevin. Can we talk please?
KEVIN
Sure Mike. Bye Jr!
JR
Bye Kev!
Jr then goes ahead of them well Kevin, Mike and Dalandra head to the exit together. They will talk as their walking to the exit.
MIKE
The judge called saying the decision has been made. You will be allowed to race the whole season under close watch from me, Dalandra and Richard. Also you�ll need to go and speak out against violence during relationships and ways to help get through it ok?
KEVIN
Yep. Anything else I should know?
MIKE
Nope.
They then get to the door and head out the airport door.
Scene 11
Daytona 500 @ Daytona Int�l Speedway.
ANNOUNCER
And coming off turn #4 and down the front stretch Kevin Harvick is your Daytona 500 champion.
KEVIN on the team radio
Great job team. Woooooooooohooooooooo!
DE on the team radio
Good job baby!
Show the cool down lap and the burn-out on the front stretch. Show him going to victory lane and getting out of the car. Show him celebrating.
