~*~The Ugly Break-Up~*~

Scene 1

It takes place in Kevin and Dalandra�s bedroom. There�s a night table on Kevin�s side with a phone on it. Kevin is trying to touch her boobs.

DALANDRA

Oh stop that!

KEVIN

Why baby girl?

DALANDRA

Cuz I don�t want to tonight.

KEVIN

But�

The phone then rings.

KEVIN

Hold on.

Kevin grabs the phone.

KEVIN

Hello�.oh hey�what? Your kidding me�.man I can�t believe it�.yeah I�ll come over�.see ya! Bye!

Kevin then hangs up the phone

KEVIN

Dalandra I gotta go. Emergency friendship call

DALANDRA

For who?

Kevin starts to get dressed in a t-shirt and jeans

KEVIN

De I really don�t want to talk about it

DALANDRA

But�

KEVIN

Please De. I�ll tell you later.

Kevin gives her a kiss and then runs down the stairs. He puts his shoes on and runs out the door. Outside it is night time. He gets in his car and heads out. Show 3-5 minutes of him driving.

~*~Scene 2~*~

Scene 2 is the street in front of Matt Crafton�s house at night. Kevin drives up the street and goes into Matt�s driveway. He then gets out and goes up to the front door. He then knocks on the door. Matt opens the door and leads him to the living room. They then sat on the cough together.

KEVIN

So what happened?

MATT

She came in like an hr before I called you and I asked what�s up. She said she had to work late and I was cool with that. Then we kind of did are own thing like usual. Then she asked why I haven�t been all lovey-dovey and I said because of are fight and because of what you did to me before. I sat down and she came over. She then pushed me down and started fucking me and all that shit. After I finally got her ass away from me I told her to get out and she wasn�t too happy with that. So she started hitting me and I finally got her kicked out. Then I called you.

KEVIN

Matt are you saying she rapped you and then assaulted you after?�

Matt shook his head yes

KEVIN

I�m so sorry to have to hear this Matt. Are you sore or anything at all?

MATT

Yeah my back hurts from when I fell when she pushed me.

Kevin heads to the kitchen. He grabs a bag of ice out of the freezer and then goes back to the couch in the living room

KEVIN

Where does it hurt?

MATT

Right by my right shoulder.

Kevin holds the ice there

KEVIN

You should tell the police before she kills you Matt.

MATT
You really think she is out to harm me?

KEVIN

Uh huh. Matt she has hurt you so many times I swear I�d kill her if I was you.

MATT
Maybe your right Kev. Want to come with me tomorrow?

KEVIN

Of course! Meet me at KHI ok?

MATT

Joking voice Ok Boss!

KEVIN

Sound mad  Matt! Go back to normal tone. Listen I got to go. I promise no one will find out. Not even DE ok?

MATT

Ok. Thanks Kev.

KEVIN
Your welcome. Bye Matt.

MATT
Bye Kevin.

Kevin gives Matt a hug and then goes out the front door. Kevin gets in his car, starts it up and heads out. Show him driving away for awhile.

~*~Scene 3~*~

At KHI the next day. Kevin is in his office. Kevin dials a number and then hits the speaker phone button. The officer door is closed also.

SECRETARY AT DEI (over the speaker phone)

Hello!?!

KEVIN

Hey! Can I speak to Jr?

SECRETARY AT DEI

And who is this?

KEVIN
Kevin. Better known as Happy.

SECRETARY AT DEI

Hold on.

Its quiet for a few seconds and then there�s a voice

JR (over the speaker phone)

Hey! What�s up?

KEVIN

Hey. Listen I need your advice

JR

Ok. Go on.

KEVIN

Quietly A friend of mine has been rapped and assaulted many times. The worst happened last night. I�ve been comforting him and am taking him to tell the Police Station to report it today. What else should I do?

JR

Did he get hurt anywhere bad?

KEVIN

Yeah his back.

JR

He should go to the hospital and get that checked out Jr. Other then that keep doing what your doing. Oh and try to find ways to keep him safe.

KEVIN

Ok thanks Jr. Well got to go. He�s going to be here soon. Bye Jr!

JR

Ok and call me anytime. Bye!

Kevin then hits the speaker phone off as Matt comes in.

KEVIN

Hey Matt. How are you?

MATT
Sore. How are you?

KEVIN

Ok. You ready to head out?

MATT

Yeah I guess.

They then head out of the office and then out the back door of KHI. They get into Kev�s car and head off. They go on the road and head to the police station. Few minutes after show Matt and Kevin inside the car with a car right behind them

KEVIN

We got company. She�s right on are tail.

MATT

Shit! What do we do?

KEVIN

I don�t know

Soon after the car behind them hits them and bumps them off the road and sends them rolling down the hill. Show them in the car right after the wreck.

KEVIN

Matt? Are you ok? Oh my god!

Kevin grabs his cell phone and dials 911.

KEVIN

Hey!....um me and my friend have just got involved in a big wreck not far from KHI on Langle St�..yes please�.Ok thanks. Bye!

Kevin hangs up

KEVIN

Matt?!?

MATT
Yeah. Kev I think I am going to die from this

KEVIN

No that can�t happen. I won�t let it Matt. You�ve got to hold on.

MATT

I�m trying

Show the wreck for a few moments and then show a ambulance showing up. The paramedics run down to the car.

KEVIN

 Take Matt first.

They get Matt out of the car and take him to the ambulance on the stretcher. They then get Kevin out and take him to the ambulance on a stretcher also. The ambulance then heads off.

SCENE 4

Dalandra paces around the hospital waiting room until the doc shows up in the room. Dalandra goes up to the doc

DALANDRA

Is he ok?

DOC

He�ll be fine after his arm and foot heal. He broke his arm and spranged his foot. Yet his friend Matt after arriving here. I�m sorry to tell you.

DALANDRA

Ok. Can I go see him?

DOC

Of course.

Doc takes her to where Kevin is. She sees Kevin laying there with his arm in a cast and his foot up on a pillow. She runs to him and gives him a hug. After a couple seconds she backs off.

DALANDRA

How are you feeling?

KEVIN

Sore. How�s Matt?

DALANDRA

Not good at all. He died a couple minutes after you two got here. I�m sorry I have to tell you this Kevin

KEVIN

Damn her! I knew I should have done something sooner.

DALANDRA

What do you mean?

KEVIN

His wife was on a rampage to kill him. We were headed to the police station to report it when she took us out on the way. I can�t believe it! Why did this have to happen to Matt?

Kevin starts to cry a little.

DALANDRA

I don�t know baby.

Dalandra gives Kevin a hug. Fade to credits while their hugging
