Story #12: The Unbelieveable

�So how�s lil miss Lianne doing?� Jr. asked.
�Ok,� Ashley answered. �She�s sleeping.�
�Aww that�s so sweet,� Jr. commented.
�Yeah,� Ashley said. �So how�s John?�
�He�s ok also,� Jr. told her. �Just got home from the park. He had fun.�
�That�s nice to hear,� Ashley commented. �He bugged you lately about Christine?�
�Nope,� Jr told her.
Jarret Johnson sat at home in anger. He was the one that was surpose to be with Ashley from the beginning. It was him who Ashley loved first. It pissed him off every moment of the day. He then got out some paper and started to write
Ashley,
Everyday I think about you. Why can�t you love me?
Jarret was going to write more when his phone rang.
�Hello,� Jarret answered it.
�Hey!� Jason said. �Its Jason. Listen I got some info for you. They�re going out to the club tonight.�
�What club?� Jarret asked.
�The one I work at,� Jason told Jarret.
�Ok,� Jarret said. �Be there.�
�I will,� Jason said. �I have to work tonight.�
Jarret then hanged up and got ready to go out to the club.
That night Jr. and Ashley were dancing together with some others.
�Like?� Jr. asked.
�Hell yeah baby,� Ashley answered.
They were dancing where they thought they wouldn�t be noticed. Yet Jarret saw them and was spying on them. He was watching their every move.
�Hey you going to do something about that?� Jason asked.
�Watch me,� Jarret told him. He then went on to the dance floor and went near them. He did some trick moves and got Ashley away from Jr. �Hey Ashley.�
�Hey Jarret,� Ashley said. �Where have you been?�
�Everywhere,� Jarret answered.
�Hey get away from her,� Jr. told Jarret. �I was dancing with her so back off.�
�Oh Jr. you�ll never get her back now,� Jarret told Jr.
�Jarret?� Ashley asked.
�Baby you wanted me since Day 1,� Jarret told her.
�Well you best back off now cuz I don�t no more.� Ashley told him.
�Take this argument outside please,� club security told them.
So Jr. and Jarret went outside.
�What the hell is your problem?� Jr. asked. �If you wanted to test a past relationship on her you should have just went to see her at the castle.�
�You wouldn�t allow it,� Jarret told him.
�Maybe I would,� Jr. changed Jarret�s statement. �You never know.�
Then Jason sneaks up behind Jr., shoots his gun at him and leaves. Jr. then falls to the ground.
�Man shot down!� Jarret yelled.
Everyone runs out to where Jarret was yelling from and saw Jr. laying there.
�Is he dead?� Ashley asked starting to cry.
Josh checked for a pulse and answered, �I�m sorry to say this miss but the answer is yes. I can�t feel any pulse.�
Ashley then cried. She couldn�t believe what had happened. She was angry and wanted to kill whoever killed Jr. She had thoughts Jarret did it yet knew he was not that evil. Or was he?
�Jarret your coming with me!� Shane told him. Shane and Todd then took Jarret away.
�Are you ok Miss?� Emily asked.
�Yeah I�ll be fine,� Ashley answered.
�I�m sorry to hear about last night Miss,� Emily said. �I�m terribly sorry.�
�Its not your fault Emily,� Ashley assured her.
Lianne then started to cry. She had woken up from her nap. Ashley went over and picked her up. She then began to cuddle her.
�Do you need my help Miss?� Emily asked.
�No I�m fine,� Ashley assured her.
�Ok,� Emily said. She then left.
Ashley sat down in the rocking chair and started rocking back and forth. �Too bad you�ll never get to meet daddy,� Ashley told her.
John then walked into the room.
�Hey John,� Ashley said.
�Where�s daddy?� John asked.
�He�s got things to do sweetie,� Ashley lied. �Josh!�
�Yeah?� Josh said as he came into the room.
�Can you take John to the park and have some fun?� Ashley asked smiling.
�Of course my dear,� Josh answered. �John can you come with me to the park?�
�Yes Joshy,� John told him.
They then ran to the park.
�Did you, Jarret Johnson kill King Dale Earnhardt Jr.?� Shane asked.
�No I didn�t,� Jarret answered.
�Where were you when it happened?� Shane questioned.
�I was standing in front of him,� replied Jarret. �We were arguing about what happended inside.�
�What happened inside?� Todd wondered.
�We were all dancing and I did a trick move or two and got Ashley dancing with me,� Jarret started. �Were old friends; I didn�t think he�d be mad.�
�Well we�ll see what Queen Ashley says,� Shane told him. �Did you see the killer or the gun?�
�I saw the gun yet no killer,� Jarret lied.
�Did you warn the king?� Shane wondered.
�No it was too late,� Jarret told him.
�I fully don�t believe you,� Shane started. �You have motive. He killed your brother Jimmie. Wouldn�t you want revenge?�
�I would never want to break Ashley�s heart,� Jarret assured them. �I used to date her a little.�
�Interesting,� Shane observed. �Would you kill King Dale Jr. to get to her?�
�No,� Jarret told them.
�Who was there with you?� Todd asked.
�Jason Leftler,� Jarret answered. �He�s my roommate.�
�Ok,� Shane said. �You can leave.�
Jarret then left the room.
�I�ll question Queen Ashley while you question Jason,� Shane instructed.
�You got it!� Todd told Shane.
�Hello Ms. Queen Ashley,� Shane said.
�Hello Sargent Hmiel,� Ashley said.
�May I question you?� Shane wondered.
�Certianly,� replied Ashley.
�Were you and Jarret friends awhile back,� Shane asked.
�Yes we dated,� Ashley told him.
�What happened in the club before they went outside?� Shane questioned.
�Me and Jr. were dancing,� Ashley started. �Then Jarret came over. He got me away from Jr. and then a argument started.�
�What was the argument about?� Shane wondered.
�Jarret getting me away from Jr.,� Ashley told him. �Jr. asked what was up and Jarret said �your never getting her back now�. They continued to argue then the club manager said to take it outside. So they went outside.�
�Did you hear the gunshot?� Shane asked.
�No,� Ashley answered.
�Ok,� Shane said. �Thanks for co-operating. I will update you as soon as possible ok?�
�Ok Shane,� Ashley said. �Goodbye!�
�Bye!� Shane said. Shane then left and headed out. He thought about what she said. He knew something was up somewhere.
�Jason Leftler, did you kill King Dale Jr.?� Todd asked.
�No I didn�t,� Jason answered.
�We have a witness ho puts you at the club,� Todd started. �We have thoughts you killed Dale Jr. to help Jarret get Ashley. True or false?�
�False!� Jason answered. �I was inside when Jarret yelled �Man shot down.��
�Who can prove that?� Todd questioned.
�No one since I was going pee,� Jason answered.
�Thanks for your time,� Todd thanked him. �Good bye.�
�Bye,� Jason said.
Todd then left. He saw nothing that showed he killed Jr. at all.
�What did you find?� Terry asked.
�Ashley told me Jarret was persuasive on breaking her relationship with Jr.,� Shane answered. �The club secretary told them to take it outside. I shall check that out with the club manager.�
�Jason didn�t act nervous at all,� Todd started. �Yet he said no one could prove his whereabouts. So makes you think.�
�I�ll scan that to at the club,� Shane said. �You take a second crack at Jarret.
�Ok,� Todd said.
�Would you like to go out with me?� Jarret asked.
�Sure,� Ashley accepted. �We should catch up on stuff.�
�Yea for sure,� Jarret agreed.
They then left the funeral service and went to a restaurant.
�Hello,� Shane said. �I�m Sargent Shane. Are you the club manager Jaedyn?�
�Yes,� Jaedyn answered. �How may I help you?�
�Who was working the area King Dale Jr. was dancing in?� Shane asked.
�Jason was,� Jaedyn told Shane.
�Jason Leftler?� Shane questioned.
�Uh huh,� Jaedyn answered.
�Thank you,� Shane thanked him. �Goodbye Jaedyn.�
�Goodbye!� Jaedyn said.
Shane then left. He knew he cracked the case.
�You going out again?� Emily asked.
�Uh huh,� Ashley answered. �Were together. Well not that yet just good friends like old times.�
�Well have fun!� Emily told her.
Jarret then showed up. �Are you ready?� he asked.
�Yes,� Ashley answered.
They then left.
�Jarret Johnson, your arrested for the murder of King Dale Earnhardt Jr.,� Shane said. He then took Jarret away.
�How do you plead?� Judge Jimmy asked.
�Not guilty your honor,� Jarret answered.
�The people request no bail since this is a murder of a King,� Terry told the judge.
�He is getting bail!� Jason yelled. �1 billion dollar bail!� He then put the money on the judge�s desk. He then took Jarret and left.
�Case closed!� Jimmy ordered. He then left.
�Are you dating Jarret?� Jason asked.
�No!� Ashley answered.
�I don�t think so,� Jason said. He then slaps Ashley.
�Jason back off!� Ashley ordered.
�Oh you know you want love,� Jason said. He then steps closer to Ashley. Ashley steps back yet a little too far and falls down the stairs. She died instantly. No one could believe what had happened in the span of 7 days. Two people killed; both royal.
�Do you love me?� Jason asked. �Let it out partner.�
�Yes I do,� Jarret answered. �Are you?�
�Yes,� replied Jason. �So shall we kiss?�
�Oh why not,� Jarret gave in.
They then started to kiss and lived gay after all.
