Tears

Let him cry

if his tears fall like rain.

Every rain drop that falls

is a tear he sheds.

He considered his action one of the devil

yet each rain drop brings sadness.

One sickness took him over

sending him to his version of hell.

It took away his time with his daughter,

a sweet innocent child he loved.

Let her cry

if it eases her pain.

Each tear shedded

takes a bit of sadness away.

Someday only few come

yet others it's a waterfall.

She thinks of the one she loved.

The one she poured her heart to.

She will miss him

but she knows he is now free.

Let them cry

if it helps them both.

Tears are what brings peace.

They release all the sadness.

The let the devil free

who has punctured your soul.

Love is something we cherish

yet only shows most at sad moments.

Ease your pain, free the hurt.

Let out the drop or waterfall.
