I knock on the door and Kasey opens it.

�Hey Jr.!� Kasey says.

�Hey Kasey. Congrats on the engagement!� I say.

�Thanks.�

�Hey Kristina.�

�Hi Jr. How�s Ashley?� Kristina asks.

�She�s ok. She�s feeling better than yesterday.�

�Nice to hear,�

�So what brings you here?� Kasey asks. I can�t believe he�d ask that.

�Just thought I�d stop by.�

�Oh nice. When are you leaving for testing?�

�Probably Saturday. When are you?�

�Saturday or Sunday.�

�Nice.�

My cell then rings. I answer it.

�Hello�.oh hey Bono�I�m at Kasey�s house. Why?�.Well tell me then�.Shit! ok I�ll be over right away�.Ok. Tell him I�ll be there in 20 minutes�ok. Bye Bono.� I then hang up. �That was Bono. I gotta go so talk to you later. Bye peps.�

�What�s wrong?� Kasey asked. I guess he can sense something is up.

�Martin was involved in a car accident. He�s at the hospital. I gotta go.� I then leave and go straight to the hospital. When I get there, Bono is waiting for me.

�Hey Bono. What�s going on?� I ask.

�He had to go for back surgery. One of the main bones was broken really bad.� Bono says. I then go with him and sit down.

�Ok. He say anything about what happened?�

�Yeah. He remembered it all. I won�t go into detail yet he knows who did it.�

�Who?�

�Harvick.�

�No. Not Happy.�

�Yep. He said he saw Kevin driving the car behind him in his mirror.�

�Shit! Ok�I gotta go call someone.� I then go outside and take out my cell and dial Elliot�s number. ��.Elliot?�.Yeah its Jr. Listen I need you and MacMurray for something�.Umm meet me or Bono at the hospital�.No its about Martin�..Just get MacMurray and come. I�ll tell you when you show up�Got it! Bye.� I then go back inside. �When Elliot and McMurray show up, I need them.�

�Got it. Why do you need them?�

�Were going to pay a visit to Happy.�

�Jr.�your not!�

�No I am not! I wouldn�t do that kind of shit in a lifetime. Were going to talk to him.�

�About it? Jr.�what if he goes after you?�

�Bono�your such a jackass. That�s why I got Elliot and Jamie.�

�Um I have some info for you regarding Martin.� A doctor says. We spin around. �The surgery went well. He�s right now in recovery.�

�Um can I go see him?� I asked.

�Yes you may.� The doctor tells me.

�Bono, can you wait here till Elliot and Jamie show up and then bring them to Martin�s room?�

�Of course,� he assures me. �Um what room is Martin in?�

�103.� The doctor says. He then led me to Martin�s room.

When I get there I walk in and sit in the chair. He hasn�t woken up yet from that stuff so I think about shit while waiting. After awhile, I see Martin�s eyes.

�Martin?� I ask hoping he�ll say something.

He looks at me. �Hey Jr.�

�Hey Martin.� I smile. I�m so glad he�s ok. �How are you?�

�Sore in my back.�

�Ok.�

�Bono tell you everything?�

�He told me you saw Kevin following you and he did it.�

�He didn�t tell you anything else?� I was courious what he wanted to know.

�No. Is there more to tell me?�

�Well you want exact details?�

�No.� I was scared of what may come out so I didn�t want to hear.

�Ok.�

Elliot and Jamie then walk in with Bono.

�Hey Martin.� They say.

�Hi!� he says.

�Bono tell you about the accident nad who did it?� I ask them.

�Yep. So why do you need us?� Elliot asked.

�Were going to talk to Happy.� I tell them.

We all leave. We go outside and start to separate.

�Elliot!� I yell. �Lets take my ride over to Happy�s. Then I�ll bring you back after were done.�

Elliot looks at Mc and then comes over to me. We all get in my car and go to Kevin�s house. We get out when we get there and go up to the door. I knock and Kevin answers.

�De home?� I ask.

�No. Why?� Kevin wonders.

�We need to talk.�

I take him to the kitchen. Elliot gets him to sit down while Jamie stands beside him.

�Ok�I know what you did to Lil Martin. Don�t deny it Kev! Why did you do it?� I ask.

�I was blackmailed into it.� He tells me.

�By who?�

�I don�t know. The message I got had no name on it. Yet I know some of the others blackmailed.�

�Who?�

�Kyle Busch, Elliot Sadler, Mark Martin and Greg Bifle.�

I turn to Elliot. �Do you know something?�

�Yes,� Elliot answers. I can�t believe him. How could he hide secrets from me?

�Go on.�

�I was used for info. Person who asked me Mark.�

�Ok.� I roll my eyes. �Anymore info either one of you?�

�Nope.� They say.

�Ok. Mc�wanna go to Rouch with me?�

�Sure.� Jamie answers.

�Me?� Elliot asks.

�Too suspicious.� I tell him.

�Can you at least take me to get my car?�

�Of course.�

We leave Kev�s and head out. I can�t believe Mark is in it yet then again, I can�t believe Elliot�s in it. We drop Elliot off and go to Rouch Racing. We get out of the car and Matt is there of course.

�Hey Jr. and Jamie. Why are you here?� Matt says as he comes toward you.

�We need to speak to Mark and Greg for curtain reasons. Can you get us in?� I ask.

�Yep. Always willing to help a friend.�

Matt lets us in the back way and takes us to Mark�s office. He knocks and Mark lets him in of course.

�These two want to talk to you.� Matt tells him. He then leaves.

�What do you want?� Mark asks. Bad way to start off.

�We know you know about curtain things with the deal that happened to Martin. What part do you play?�

�The same as Greg and Kyle. He got us all in blackmailing to get info.�

�Who is he?� I ask.

�Don�t know yet I know Ryan Moore and Shane Hmiel know.�

�Ok. Thanks! Bye.�

Me and Jamie leave.

�Lets go see Moore. He�ll confess.�

We then go over to Chance 2 and go to the back corner better known as driver central. I find Moore talking with Kelley.

�Hey sis. Ryan�come with me upstairs.� I say

�Ok.� He accepts. He then follows me and Jamie up to my office. We go inside and everyone takes a seat.

�Ryan, would you betray me or Martin?�

�No. I�d never do that!�

�Ok. If you helped someone hurt one of us through blackmailing would you let the other or someone else know?�

�Yep!�

�Nice. What part did you play in the deal with Martin?�

�I had to call Scott Wimmer right when Martin left here so he could call Kevin.�

�Scott is behind this?�

�Yes.�

�Ok.� Now I understand all this yet as always there are pieces missing. �What did Scott do to you to make you do this?�

�He threatened to hurt me.�

�Ok. Why didn�t you warn Martin or tell someone?�

�He said he�d ruin my career if I spilled the beans.�

�Ok. Thanks. Now you can go.�

Ryan leaves.

�Why would Scott try to hurt Martin?� Jamie asked me.

�Last year at the party, they got into a argument and Scott ahs hated Martin since then.� I explain.

�What was it about?�

�I forget.�

�Ok.�

We then sit there in silence.
