Stranger Than Fiction first opened on September 18, 2004 under the name Degrassi-Net. After a while I got a little sick of the name and design, and changed the layout to the one currently in use, and the name to "Reality".
Unfortunately, I was unaware another website already had the name Reality, and when I found out, I decided it would be polite to change to a new name.
The name "Stranger Than Fiction", which was suggested by my friend Sly, comes from the term "Truth is stranger than fiction". Degrassi = Reality = Truth = Stranger Than Fiction. Get it?
