Emma *kind of annoyed*: Well.. I haven't exactly told him you were coming yet but..
Manny: No, maybe we should just meet up after the party.
Emma: No! Your coming! We are friends again, and if JT is still mad because you *sarcastically* "broke his heart" last year, by going out with Sully, then he needs to deal. And if he has a problem he doesn't need to be there.
Manny: Hmmm.. Okay, I guess...
Emma: Anyway in theater, Sean and Ellie were all over each--
Manny *not interested in what Emma is babbling about*: OH! I almost forgot, look what Craig gave me. *Manny dictates a note Craig taped to her locker.*
"Hey, I almost forgot 'how much fun' school is! Hope your having a better day. Talk to you later, love always C xox"
Manny: Isn't that the sweetest thing ever??
Emma: Umm, yeah.
Emma wonders if Manny just heard one word she just said.
After school, Emma is walking home by herself. She hears someone running behind her, she turns around and sees Craig calling her. She stops.
They walk together.
Emma: Craig
Craig: So Emma, I heard about Jack's birthday bash. Joey told me about it last night, and Manny told me today.
Emma: Oh, so are you gunna come?
Emma hoped Craig would say no, because she figured if Craig was there then Manny would pay no attention to her.
Craig: Yeah we'll be there, me and Manny I mean.
Emma: Of course
Emma is home and she sees her mom, Christine (aka Spike) feeding baby Jack.
She tells her about her classes, locker assignment, and lives the part about Manny and Emma are friends again, and how JT, Toby, Manny, and Craig were coming to the party.
Emma: Mom, you should have heard Craig. "Oh yeah me and Manny will be at your party for sure!" Like, everyone knows they are a couple no need to brag!
Spike: Well, they better remember it's a one-year-old's birthday party, they better be keeping this PG-rated.
Emma: Mooooooooom! Get a life! *Emma says jokingly and they both laugh*
Spike: Well, I'm glad you and Manny have finally made ends tie.
Emma gets up to go down her bedroom.
Spike: Umm Em, just remember, Manny is a different girl then what she was last year.
Emma: Duhh. Mom I know that!
Spike: I just don't want to see you get hurt again. That's all.
Emma shakes her heads and walks downstairs.
