Emma: You're right. Everything is fine.
Scene 11- We see Hazel, just waking up and getting out clothes to wear. The phone rings and she answers it.
Hazel: Hello? (pause) Oh hi, Paige. (we hear a scream on the other end of the line) Paige? Paige? (Hazel hangs up and smiles.)
Scene 12- Hazel is on the steps in front of the school, waiting for Paige. Paige comes running up with a hat on and NO HAIR STICKING OUT)
Paige: Hazel!
Hazel: Paige.
Paige: You have to help me!
Hazel: What?
Paige: Come. (they go inside)
Scene 13- Paige and Hazel walk into the bathroom and Paige looks under every stall to see if anyone is there. Once it is clear she takes off her hat revealing nothing- not one hair is on her head.
Paige: Look at me! I look like Mr. Simpson!
Hazel: Paige, what happened?
Paige: Some little rat replaced instant hair removal for my shampoo and I lost all my hair.
Hazel: Who could do a thing like that? Dillon? Your brother?
Paige: Dillon? He knows how important hair is to a girl and we never fight! He would never do something like this! My parents are out of town and the only other person who has been in my house is…. You!!! You Hazel!!!
Hazel: What?
Paige: You did this!
Hazel: No, no!
Paige: Hazel why would you do something like this?
Hazel: Why? Why Paige? Because you never listen to me! You take me for granted! You think you are so much better than me!
Paige: Hazel, that isn't true.
Hazel: No? No Paige? Fine. We'll see who's better! As of now, I am back in the Miss Degrassi elections! (starts to exit)
Paige: Fine!
Hazel: Fine! (exits) (Ashley comes in)
Ashley: Paige? Paige, what happened?
Paige: (puts hat on) A little rat replaced my shampoo with instant hair remover so that she could win Miss Degrassi!
Ashley: Hazel? Paige, I'm so sorry.
Paige: Ashley, what do I do? I can't win with no hair.
Ashley: Just keep your hat on and no one will know.
Scene 14- We see Emma at her locker. JT and Toby come running up.
JT: Emma? Any luck?
Emma: None. The field trip is on.
Toby: NO!!!
Emma: Don't worry! Just tell Miss Abigail you want to cancel your dance. None of the girls will get sick. You will never have to be seen!
JT: You're right. Yeah.
Scene 15- We see all the grade 12 people in Miss Kwan's class.
Miss Kwan: Ok, ok! Settle down! Paige, take off your hat when we are in the building.
Paige: No.
Miss Kwan: Paige.
Paige: No!!
Miss Kwan: Paige, this is not a fashion show, take off the hat.
Hazel: (mocking) Come one Paige, what are you scared of?
Spinner: Yeah! (pulls off hat revealing Paige's baldness. Everyone laughs. Paige slaps Spinner and runs out of the room. Hazel laughs)
Scene 16- We see Paige in the bathroom, crying. Terri walks in.
Terri: Paige,
Paige: Don't speak.
Terri: Miss Kwan says you can take the class off and don't worry about having to take the hat off again.
Paige: Terri!.
Terri: Paige, I'm sorry!
Paige: No. No one is. Everyone hates me become I'm beautiful. And now look at me. I lost my hair, my rep
Terri: You lost your best friend, too.
Paige: She did this to me!!
Terri: It is better to have a good friend through rough times than no friends through good times.
Paige: No, Terri. (gets up) She took jealousy too far. I'll never win Miss Degrassi now. People laugh at me! That never happens!
Terri: You're Paige. People will like the new do. You have a good-shaped scalp.
Paige: Is that supposed to be funny?
Terri: No. Listen. I'll shave my head.
Paige: What?
Terri: Yeah. We'll start a trend. Think about it!(takes a small razor from her purse and shaves her head.)
Paige: Terr, you so didn't need to do that!
Terri: Yeah, Paige, I did. (leaves bathroom. Paige Smiles)
Scene 16- We see Manny, Toby, JT, and Emma at dance class.
Instructor: Here is a list of requirements to perform in the recital in TWO days! (passes out a paper) Nobody miss please! (JT raises hand) Yes, TJ.
JT: It's JT. Toby and I would like to skip our dance in the recital.
Instructor: What? But you two are incredible together! It's an excellent number!
Toby: Sorry, but we can't do it. I guess we can only be understudies.
Instructor: Fine. If you wish. I really hope you will reconsider, but if you insist
JT: Yeah. (Toby sighs)
Scene 17- It is the next day. We see everyone walking around at school. There are atleast a dozen girls with shaven heads. Paige and Ashley are walking together. Paige looks around.
Paige: What is up with everyone having no hair?
Ashley: Looks like your trend caught on.
Paige: What? What trend?
Ashley: No hair .
Paige: But someone just did my hair as a prank. People like it?
Ashley: Look around, Paige. They do!
Scene 18- We see Emma and Manny at their locker. Manny is looking in a mirror in her locker, fiddling with her hair. Emma is looking around.
Manny: So, Emma, think I should shave me head?
Emma: No way, Manny.
Manny: Come on, Em! We'll do it together!
Emma: Manny, have you lost your mind?
Manny: No. But I think I might loose my hair.
Emma: I can't believe you!
Manny: All the cool kids are doing it.
Emma: And you are going to give into the trend?
Manny: Why not? (Sean comes running up)
Sean: Hey, Emma.
Emma: Sean! How are you?
Sean: I'm good. Anyway, how do you like the new hairstyle?
