| The N: My Real Life - Christina Schmidt (Terri) ladybug88: How old are you? Chrissy: Well, I'm 14, almost 15! Kittypaw: What are your hobbies? Chrissy: I love listening to music, dancing, shopping, and hanging out with my friends! Basically what a lot of teens like to do. Kittypaw: What type of music do you like? Chrissy: I love rap, R & B, and soul. (That's the best stuff to dance to.) Alvin: What sports do you play? Chrissy: I really like playing volleyball. My favorite sport is basketball, but I'm not that good, so I just watch it! hypergurl7: How did you get into acting? Chrissy: I got into acting by going to acting classes and workshops and going from there. CountriQT: How do you feel about your character? Chrissy: There are things I like and don't like about Terri. I like that she's so laid back and that she's nice. The only thing that I don't like is that she is so self-conscious, but it's realistic, 'cause there are lots of people like that. I think lots of girls relate to Terri, so it's good she's a character in the show. CountriQT: Do you wish she could be different? Chrissy: I like my character the way she is, although she isn't really like me in real life. But we do have a couple of things in common, like we are both laid back and try to be nice to other people. hypergurl7: Do you get along with everyone else in the cast? Chrissy: Yah, we all get along great. We have been together a very long time, and I can't think of one fight. kaceypaige: Do you get angry on set when you're acting and you make a mistake, or when someone else makes a mistake? Chrissy: I don't get mad, because it happens to everyone at least once. lildevil08: What do you like most about being on the show? Chrissy: My favorite thing about being on the show is the experience and opportunities. You get to meet a lot of great people, go to awesome places, and it's a lot of fun! lildevil08: Do you relate to the things that happen on the show? What specifically? Chrissy: Yeah, going through things like boyfriends, fights, rumors... sofia9922: Has your life changed by making this series? Chrissy: A lot of my life has changed since Degrassi, such as that I can't do certain dangerous things so I don't injure myself. I've also made new friends, my school routine has changed, and much more. fla: This August, I'm going into Junior High. Is the first day really like the one in your episode? Chrissy: I personally thought junior high and high school weren't as scary as I thought they would be. I thought everyone was really nice. The N: My Real Life - Adamo Ruggiero (Marco) ladybug88: How old are you? Adamo: Im 16 years old. Kittypaw: What are your hobbies? Adamo: I like to go dancing and clubbing. I also watch a lot of movies and relax with friends. I also love going to theater performances with my mom. But when Im not doing all that, I go rollerblading and biking, and I love talking on the phone and listening to oldies. Kittypaw: What type of music do you like? Adamo: I love pop and dance music. I listen to singers like Britney Spears, N*sync and Destinys Child. But I also love oldies. I spend a lot of time listening to artists like Billie Holiday, Peggy Lee, Aretha Franklin, Petula Clark, Judy Garland and many more. Alvin: What sports do you play? Adamo: I love playing tennis and soccer, but I enjoy rollerblading, biking and swimming the most. Ashanti626: Do you have a girlfriend? Adamo: Well, I am single right now. But Im looking around for someone cool to spend my time with. CountriQT: How do you feel about your character? Adamo: My character is not this huge complicated guy, but he has his problems, just like every other teenager does. In that aspect, I feel my character is nothing far from real. Thus I feel I can relate to him a lot. I like the way my character acts because he is a sensitive type of guy that is not afraid to show feelings and emotion. And in my opinion, that is true strength. CountriQT: Do you wish your character could be different and why? Adamo: No, I wouldnt change a thing about my character. What makes my character unique are his multiple attributes, good and bad. Plus, my character has cool style in clothing, and he is sensitive and caring and isnt that what ladies like in guys? LOL! hypergurl7: Do you get along with everyone else in the cast? Adamo: Of course I do. We all spend a lot of time together, so we are all really good friends. Everyone is respectful, kind and talented. So its like a big hang out every time we work! kaceypaige: Do you get angry on a set when youre acting and you make a mistake, or when someone else makes a mistake? Adamo: Well, when one of us makes a mistake its like a blooper. We laugh about it and move on. But if there is high stress on set and a mistake is made, sometimes we can get a bit frustrated. But thats very seldom. And even when that does occur, we just accept the mistake and move on. lildevil08: What do you like most about being on the show? Adamo: Well I cant really choose one thing about the show that stands out as the best. Every aspect of working on Degrassi is a blessing from God and is an enjoyable experience. sofia9922: Has your life changed by making series? Adamo: Well, by doing this series and being in front of a camera, my love for this profession has grown even stronger. And now more than ever I know that acting is a field I want to spend the rest of my life in, because it is truly what makes me happy. hypergurl7: How did you get into acting? Adamo: In grade three my elementary school did a musical. I loved to sing and dance, so I auditioned and got one of the lead roles as a young kid. After doing the show and hearing the applause of the audience, I realized that I had a passion for theater, and I wanted to pursue it. And I did. I have been acting, singing and dancing since I was 7 or 8. I have traveled to many places in the United States and in Canada for multiple competitions. I now go to an arts high school which allows me to learn more about theater everyday, making every day of the week an enjoyable and exciting one. Because there is nothing I would rather spend my time doing than performing. |
