| Degrassi: The Next Generation is a show about kids growing up in the stages of highschool. They deal with real issues like any other kids in real life, such as drugs, rape, abuse, etc. It's actually a good show for alot of teenagers, as well as adults. DTNG made its debut in September of 2001, with their first episode entitled "Mother Daughter Reunion". Joining the cast along with the new kids, are previous Degrassi members, which include Christine (also known as Spike) Nelson, Archie (Also known as Snake) Simpson, Joey Jeramiah, and Caitlin Ryan.
