CONWY
The Historic walled town of Conwy lies just across the Estuary from the Hotel. The Castle was built by Edward I between 1283 and 1289 and holds great significance in the history of Wales. Also within the walls there are a number of National Trust sites to visit, along with the beautiful fishing harbour.
LLANDUDNO
The Victorian town of Llandudno, Wales' largest holiday resort, is only 2 ½ miles away from the hotel and boasts a unique location. The Victorian tradition is evident in its architecture, canopied shops and elegant facades. The resort lies between the Great and Little Ormes which in themselves provide interesting walks and beautiful views. Situated on the Greate Orme is Europe's oldest Bronze Age Copper Mine, which can be reached by tram or cable car. |
