Hi Deb-Your site is enjoyable and entertaining. I especially like the story about Jack London and Arnold Genthe. It reminds me of a story about an artist who overhear someone commenting that their photos would be just as good as those of the artist if the had the same equipment. The artist considered this fair criticism and mused, are good photographs only a result of equipment? The artist's next exhibit was a huge success and it contained only photos made with a pinhole camera-a good camera indeed.
