| Are you black or non-white and you are heavily into techno music and rave culture? If so, you probably feel weird when see few or no people who look like you on the techno floor, or in the techno room of a club, or even at a rave event. I want to say to you, to not be discouraged and to keep coming out to events. Its the pioneers like you who allow other people like you to feel at home and not left out when they're on the dance floor and see someone like them there. When your at the club nobody cares what color you are, or where your from, or what god you believe in. People come to the club and to raves to have fun, listen to heavy hitting basslines with hard hitting build-ups, and to be in atmosphere where everyone is just excited and hyped by what they are hearing. If you have never been to rave, you have got to go! So go out w/ some of your friends to an event, and you will have a very fun and safe experience and you will definately go back! You will never forget your first rave experience. Hopefully when you go there's some great DJ's there. |
